CHAPTER 17: FEELINGS ?

The next morning , I woke up when I felt someone's touch on my forehead , I slowly opened my eyes to see a lady checking my body temperature.. Then she went to window and removed all the curtains..

The sunlight directly fall on my face due to which I quickly shut my eyes...as my eyes adjusted the light , I re-opened it and the lady helped me to sat comfortably on the bed , then I laid my back on the wall behind for support and moved my gaze at her...

" how are you feeling right now ? " the lady asked in poilet way..she was looking a bit aged , she would be in her 50s...I guess..

" better than yesterday " I smiled

" Thank you " I added after a pause..

" don't be " she said immediately and further extended her words " you should be thankful to William sir , he's been taking care of you since yesterday "

" ohh , then I should be obliged to him " I said with a nod..

" yeah , beacuse I have never seen him like
this before " she said with tint of suprise in her eyes..

" like what ? " I asked in confusing tone..

" I have never seen his caring side ever for anyone " she exclaimed..

" you are the only one , for whom I saw his caring side " she added after a second meanwhile I didn't utter a word..

" you had a high fever and when he brought you here , he looked stressed and called every female servants , some was with you , some was in kitchen making soup.. and what not "

" then after the departure of doctor , he himself was with you whole time and then left before you woke up " she added...

I was stunned and completely speechless on what she was saying....I literally didn't expect this much from him...I just nodded and then she left..

I remained sitting there on the same position for like minutes , processing what she just spoke...I then stood up from bed and went to washroom... I was feeling completely fine now without any symptoms of fever.. I came from washroom after having shower..

After wearing comfortable clothes , I sat on the bed comfortably and started scrolling through insta... After half an hour, a lady came with my breakfast...

" why did you brought here ? I was coming down.." I asked..

" William sir has told to give your food in you room , you don't have to come down " she confronted after putting plates on a table..

" No, I am fine , please can you bring it down...I don't wanna eat here " I said with pleading eyes..

" but William sir - " she was about to say something but I cut off her in between.. "please " and directly went down without listening to her..

I was running through downstairs when I saw a similar figure was sitting on a chair near dining area...I immediately slowed down my speed and was taking small steps through the dining table..

I reached the dining area , and sat down silently on the opposite side of the table....he was doing some work on his laptop and was wearing specs...oh god , he looks hot even in those specs too , I thought...

He was typing something with right hand while took a cup of coffee from left and started taking sip , his gaze was on his laptop meanwhile here I am staring at him like a miniac...
