CHAPTER 18: DEAD

Jasmine's pov

" hey ! What are you doing there? " a voice came from some distance...I looked up to found luca waiting for me at a distant
" come here " he shouted..

I waved a hand at him " coming! " and started running towards him...

I reached there , panting heavily " how did you get here so early? "

After taking a deep breath and calming my heartbeat , I further extended my words with an awkward laugh " I guess...we were walking together " he shook his head in disbelief and started walking..

" huh "....... " I expected an answer " I muttered then waved my head dramatically and followed him..

We were walking together , when all of a sudden I confronted " I wonderrrrr.. "  he looked at me..

"What ? "

" where are you staying ? Cause I didn't see you anywhere in the mansion " I finally asked him but He stays silent..

" you just appeared on the day of deal and all of a sudden disappear and now today on the site visit "

" I wonder if you are some ghost or someone who does black magic " I added after a pause thinking to myself , meanwhile he looked at me with frowned eyebrows..

I moved my gaze to him and rolled my eyes seeing his reaction on my words..I then looked at front and walked past him...

He remained there , looking at me with wide eyes..

" we will get late! " .....

" Or do you wanna get killed by your boss ? " I shouted while walking..he sighed and ran behind me..

Mr William has sent both of us for site visit as he got indulged himself into some important work...so here we are after visiting the place and noting every information in file marching to his cabin in his company...yeah he has his branch here too...

We both sat in a car and drove of to company...as we reached there , I and luca both immediately headed to his cabin where he was doing some work on his laptop...

We entered inside the cabin and Luca kept the file on the side of the table

" boss! This is the file of venue " he said and came and  stood besides me , meanwhile Mr William just gave a nod while looking at laptop..

Then after a while , he took the file and started looking over it...after checking evey details he kept the file on the table and luca took it..

" boss , what should be the timing of take off "
Luca asked after taking the file...

" tonight , 7 " he said working on  laptop , meanwhile luca nodded and then we both went out..

After we came outside , he stopped me and said " you can go to mansion " on which  I nodded ..

He was about to left , when I called him  "Luca!" He turned towards me with a questioning look.." I wanted to ask something " he nodded and came closer..

" I have seen file related to project , are we really going to build an orphanage here ? " I confronted..

" yeah but why are you asking? " He said with a Tint of uncertainty in his tone..

" because to be honest ,.... I don't see Mr William as a person who can genuinely cares for these children " I said hesitantly while looking down..
