 Mara's P.O.V

It's been about a week since the parade and everything has been mellow for the most part. Small jobs here and there. But nothing big has been going on. We finally got a break from all the fighting, and bickering. Well kind of, I mean there still is Natsu.

Everyone found out about Laxus sometime after the parade. Everyone reacted in their own way. However, I personally think Natsu took it kind of rough. He went on a screaming match with Master Gramps. Unfortunately, my opinion on the matter had swayed, somehow finding myself against his dismissal. Even though I hated Laxus, he was still about the guild. In a way he was just looking out for the guild. He may not have done it the right way, but I think he was just trying to toughen us up. He just took it a bit too far. I mean he was wrong, but he was sort of right, I guess. I don't know.

"I thought he was a part of our family?! I know he's a jerk but come on!" Natsu sat there refusing to give up for Laxus' stake.

"That is quite enough!" Erza stepped in now. I exhale some stress, leaning against the wall in the corner. To be honest, I've been a little distant for a few days now. I know I'm happy here and all, I just feel... out of place strangely. No one really noticed which made it easier to dwell. I shook my head of thought and continued to listen to the yelling match.

"Yeah, but now that he's gone, I might never get the chance to fight him again, Gramps!!" He yelled back. All this yelling just for that?

"I just know I'd be strong enough to beat him next time!"

"I said enough!" Erza orders once again, putting a heavy hand on Natsu's shoulder.

"Imagine how the Master must be feeling right now, you think he expelled Laxus because he wanted to? " Natsu lowered his head slightly.

"No but-..." He said sadly before Happy popped over his shoulder.

"I still can't believe he ended up being a dragon slayer just like you and Mara." Happy remarks, which gathers quite the attention. Some people in the guild whip back at me with their mouths wide open and their eyes bulging back at me. I looked at them.

"What?" I inquire innocently.

"You're a dragon slayer!?" They exclaim. I raised a brow at them.

"Yeah, you didn't know this by now?" I asked back. We quickly dropped that conversation and Natsu and the others continued arguing.

"...No. Laxus was never a real dragon slayer." Master begins to explain. All of the guild gasped, me included. Not a real dragon slayer? How is that even possible? Either you are or you're not one. Master Gramps tells us the tale, I guess Laxus was always a sick frail little boy, so his father Ivan used a lacrima and implanted it in his body that gave him the powers of a dragon slayer.

"I'm sorry..." Master Gramps apologizes, more to himself than anyone in particular.

"Wow, I didn't even know that existed. Dragon slayer lacrima?" Happy says. I looked at Natsu from across the room seeing him put his head down a bit. Natsu...

After all that Master Gramps tried to resign for all the trouble that Laxus caused. So we tried desperately to get him to stay. But he still insisted. That's when Freed, who cut his hair by the way, convinced him to stay. After some pursueding, Master decided to stay. After the whole Laxus thing the Thunder Legion opened up a bit more to the guild. I must say Evergreen is a real big flirt. -_- Even Bickslow tried to hit on Lucy, asking if she and Loke were going out. Of course Happy said they were in love because of the whole thing that happened with Karen and them being closer and what not. So Bickslow decided to taunt her about her and Loke being in love as Happy always does.
