The Battle Of Darkness Within

    Natsu and I made it closer to the camp the others had set up, finally making it back with Wendy to help Erza.
"You miss us?" Natsu asked excitedly. I walked beside Lucy, placing the younger child down on the ground beside Erza.
"Natsu, Mara!" I smile down at Lucy who gazed at us happily, beyond relieved.
"Glad you're okay, Lucy."
"How'd you do that anyways? All of the sudden your map popped into my head." I nodded to Natsu's question as he talked with Hibiki, not fully understanding his magical ability.
"I'll explain it later, is Wendy alright?" Hibiki cross examined, ignoring the question for now.
"She's fine." Natsu says, walking over to the little girl and began to roughly shake her in an attempt to wake her up. I felt a bead of sweat form as my smile twitched at his actions but left it. She slowly started to wake up before looking up at Natsu and I, scurrying herself away from us while screaming.
"I had to do it!" She cried. She sat there shaking and crying, almost petrified.

"I'm willing to overlook that right now! Erza was bit by a poisonous snake, she's in bad shape. Please, save her!" I stared sadly at Natsu as he bowed, begging Wendy to save our friend Erza.
"She's hurt?" She asked whilse looking over to Erza, noticing her wounds.
"We need Erza to destroy the Orasion Seis, we don't stand a chance without her help."
"Please Wendy, we need her more than ever." Lucy begged. The child looked at all of us wide eyed, her eyes resting on me as I stepped between the other two, kneeling down before her.
"Please heal, Erza. We can't lose her, Wendy." I lowered myself before her, the others quiet as we waited for Wendy to decide.
"Yeah, I'll try my best to save her. No, I will!" She proclaimed. She got up, making her way to Erza before kneeling beside her. She placed her hands near Erza, letting her spell take effect, causing a bright blue hue to appear. The poisonous wound started retreating before leaving Erza's body entirely, dispersing from her body.
"Well, that should do it. I got rid of all the venom now all we have to do is wait." Wendy reassured wiping her exhaustion away. I smiled my thanks to her as we waited for Erza to wake up. She groaned out softly, but not in pain and we cheered knowing she'd be okay.
"Thanks, Wendy! Guess I owe you one. " Natsu high-fives the little girl and beams brightly down at her. I mentally pouted at this, Happy floating beside me giving me a taunting smile. I glared at him menacingly.
"Don't even start cat." I warned quietly so the others didn't hear. He shuddered at this, retreating quietly.
"She's probably not gonna wake up for a little while but she'll be back to normal when she does." She explained in a sad tone.
"That's incredible. Who knew sky magic was so strong? She's already looking much better." Hibiki observes, hovering closely over Erza. Lucy yelled at his actions, saving me the trouble of doing so.
"Excuse me. Now that your friend is healed, please don't make Wendy use her sky magic again. She'll insist that she's fine, but I can tell that she's exhausted by the look on her face." Carla interjected.
"No, you've got it all wrong, I'm just worried is all." Wendy tried to cover, but it was obvious the girl was drained.
"We're gonna strike back as soon as Erza wakes up, there's no need to worry, okay?" Hibiki tried to assure her.
"Yeah, watch out Orasion Seis!" I stood up beside Happy as we all prepared for our next move.
"Aye, we're not gonna let them get Nirvana!" As Happy finished there was a sudden flash throughout the forest. The dark light shot up in the sky as dark mass seemed to swarm and twirl around the circle at the center. What in the world.. is that?!
"A giant pillar of black light.."
"No way." I looked over at Wendy and Carla as they seemed to know what this was.
"It's been unsealed!" My eyes widened as I thought about what was happening.
"Is this Nirvana!?" I yelled. I looked over at Hibiki who looked terrified, getting my answer.
"Yeah that's gotta be it." He finally said after a horrified moment.
"Really but how did the Oracion Seies beat us to the punch?" Lucy asked.
"That pillar of light.." I started, trailing off.
"I know Jellal is there!" Natsu sprinted off going into the woods, I about to follow.
"Hold on, don't just run off without telling us what's happening!" I looked at Lucy real quick.
"Lucy there's no time to explain right now, just.. stay safe, okay?" I order quickly trying to catch up to the pink haired fire breather. I hear Lucy yell after me but knew she was fine as long as she stayed with the others. Erza should be waking up soon, she'll watch over them. I sighed, already losing track of Natsu. I smiled coyly to myself as I found a small clearing and bodies littered the ground. I stopped for a moment deciding to go in the way I thought Natsu had gone in. Well, can tell Natsu's been through here. Wish he would have made it clearer which way he went though.
'Maybe he's just trying to lose you, it's not like he needs your help anyways.' I stopped for a moment at the sudden thought.
Of course, Natsu doesn't need my help, he's a capable wizard. But it's nice to be there in case he ever does, in case any of our friends need help. I thought this time, trying to ease myself.
'He's too worry about making Jellal pay for what he did. He didn't even notice you following him. I bet he'd notice if it were anyone else. Like Lucy perhaps?' I shook my head of the intruding thoughts and pushed myself to keep going.
It doesn't matter, I'm going for more than just Natsu anyways. I need to make sure the others are okay, that Gray's okay. He could be seriously injured after fighting the racer guy.. I need to make sure that Nirvana is stopped.
'Yeah, sure you're going for the rest of them. Just admit it, you're really just going to be with Natsu. You don't actually care about the rest of them.'
You're wrong! I care about all of them and they care about me!
'Do they though? How can you be so sure?'
