Inko stared at Qi's lifeless body. Her son did it.
He became the killer the commission wanted him to be. She was proud that her blood was the best that the commission produced.
"Thank you Qi, for making him the deadliest weapon we have," she bowed.
She had already called in someone to collect the body. She wasn't worried about Qi anymore.
She put all her focus on Amari. It had been half an hour since Izuku left the room.
Inko wanted to know how long it would take for Amari to come to. She didn't pay attention the first time since she truly thought he was dead.
As if her mind triggered it, Amari gasped, still lying on the floor. He sat up clutching his chests catching his breath.
"30 minutes," she told him.
Amari looked Inko up and down before his eyes landed on Qi.
"Is she dead?"
"When Qi took the blame for your death order she figured she was giving her own death order."
"Izuku killed her," he figured out even though he knew.
"It's a rite of passage when a student defeats a teacher. I lost a colleague but the commission gained a powerful individual."
"You two were friends weren't you?" Amari slowly stood up to his feet, feeling woozy at first.
"She was a friend of mine, but we know the risks of our jobs. This was simply one."
Amari slowly walked to the mirror in the room and lifted his shirt. He saw the white line on his stomach that matched the blade that he was stabbed with.
Inko looked into the mirror from afar. "So it heals that quick?"
"It sure does. Still hurts like hell. This is the first scar that I can't really hide," he pushed down his shirt.
"You have others?"
"Most of the things that kill me are things that don't leave scars. The electrocution, me having my neck snapped during the car crash, things like that don't really leave physical scars."
"I see you don't have your tag," Inko pointed out.
"I gave it to him. I told him that I would always be with him like that. I also told him to live for the both of us."
"That was really sweet of you," she smirked.
"Can I ask you something?" Amari turned to face Inko.
"Go ahead."
"Who is his father? He mentioned that he couldn't remember his name, but you being his birth mother, you'd know."
"Shouta Aizawa."
"The name seems familiar," he mumbled to himself. He know he had heard or seen the name but he couldn't remember where.
"I know the two of them are going to meet in the near future. I've been told that Hawks got a substitute teacher job over at UA," she spoke thinking about how angry Izuku would get.
"So what now? I'm in a blood covered shirt and sweats that are pretty gross."
"I sent someone to get you clothes and other necessities. You can change in my office to keep you hidden. After that you are free to go."
Amari nodded. In that moment he started to plan. He didnt care if it took him ages. He didn't care if Izuku would hate him for holding secrets. He was going to find him in the outside world.
