Min's House

Yoongi was cooking with Jin in the kitchen, but his attention kept drifting to Hobi, who was busy playing a game with Jimin and JunJun. (A/U - Oh, I almost forgot to mention that Jimin now lives at the Min house with his three brothers and works part-time at Jin's restaurant.) Yoongi was pulled out of his thoughts when Jin called him.

"Yooni, what's the matter, baby? Why are you so deep in thought? Is everything okay?"

"Everything's fine, Hyung. But..." (He kept glancing at Hobi.)

"But, you're thinking about Hobi?"

"Whenever he comes here, he's so different from the arrogant and grumpy person he usually is."

Jin chuckled, "I used to think the same, but trust me, Jooni told me that he's been through a lot. That's why he acts the way he does, but he's really kind-hearted."

Yoongi sighed, "I don't know, Hyung. How do you all manage to see the good in people?"

Jin laughed, "Well, he is your boss, so it's natural for you to be upset with him."

As they continued talking, the two brothers got busy with cooking.

At Jung's House:

Mr. Jung was on a call when Mrs. Jung came in.

On the call, Mr. Jung said, "Go back to that house. Find out anything you can. Ask the neighbors. I want results. Get that done."

He hung up the phone.

Mrs. Jung sat beside him, "Honey, you're searching, but you know their eldest son hates you. He didn't listen to you then, and I'm afraid even after ten years, he'll react the same way if you find them."

Mr. Jung sighed, "I know. I can never forget what he said."

10 Years Ago - Flashback

A 20-year-old boy stood in front of Mr. Jung, crying and shouting, "YOU KILLED MY MOM AND DAD, AND NOW YOU WANT TO TAKE MY BROTHERS AWAY FROM ME? NO! MY BROTHERS AND I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU. I PROMISE I WON'T LET YOUR SHADOW FALL ON MY BROTHERS."

Mr. Jung tried to explain, but the boy refused to listen. "ONCE THAT GOD TOOK EVERYTHING FROM ME, AND NOW YOU WANT TO TAKE WHAT'S LEFT? NEVER! IF YOU DON'T LEAVE RIGHT NOW, I'LL CALL THE POLICE. GO AWAY! JUST GET OUT"

Mr. Jung, overwhelmed by the boy's hatred, left in defeat.

End Flashback

Mr. Jung sighed deeply, "But that boy wasn't wrong that day. I do deserve his hatred, Honey. Yet, I can't forget the promise I made. I hope that in ten years, that 20-year-old boy has become a little kinder and will allow me to fulfill my vow."

At Min's House

After putting JunJun to sleep, Yoongi stepped out onto the balcony where Hobi was standing, gazing at the sky.

"Ahmm..." Yoongi cleared his throat.

"JunJun is asleep?" Hobi asked without turning around.

"Yes. What are you thinking about?" Yoongi inquired.

"About a boyfriend," Hobi replied.

For some reason, Yoongi felt a sudden jolt, as if he had received a huge shock. Nervously, he asked, "Your boyfriend?"

Hobi was surprised by the question but didn't show it. He decided to have a bit of fun. Hobi looked at Yoongi with a loving smile and said, "Yes, I was thinking about my boyfriend. He's so cute and sweet that he's always on my mind."
