Chapter - 14

At Office:

With his head bowed, Yoongi stood in front of Hoseok's table, and then Hoseok angrily threw a file's documents at Yoongi's face.

Today, Hoseok seemed angrier than he had been in the past two weeks, and why, even Yoongi didn't know.

Hoseok - "I've never seen such a useless employee like you. I'm surprised how you were even selected for my company."

Yoongi had become accustomed to these remarks over the last two weeks, as Hoseok had turned his life into a nightmare. But he was Min Yoongi; he wasn't one to give up easily.

Hoseok knew that Yoongi was the most skilled employee in his department, but something had happened today that had angered him even more.

Yoongi - "Boss, please give me one last chance. I'll make it right this time."

Saying this, Yoongi picked up the pieces of paper and began to leave. He was about to exit the cabin when his devilish boss called out from behind (no need to tell who it is), "If this printout is even slightly crooked this time, you're out of here for good."

(A/U-Hoseok, seriously, over a printout? That's how things are in the office.)

Yoongi took a deep breath, nodded his head, and said "yes," before walking out of the room.

That day, he climbed up and down the stairs twenty times.

Yesterday night:

Jin - "Yeoni baby, come on, let's have some milk."

Yeoni - "Okay, hyundgi."

Yeoni usually prefers to be in little space. It's not that his two elder brothers have any issue with it, but one of them always has to take care of him, which is why Jin stays with them now.

Jin - "Yoongi baby, how's everything at the office? You seem lost lately."

Yoongi - With a slight smile, he said, "It's going fine, hyung. Please don't worry too much."

Jin - With a heavy sigh, he said, "My child, I know you're strong, but for me, you're still a child whom I love dearly. Never forget that." Saying this, Jin gently ruffled Yoongi's hair.

Yoongi holds Jin's words in high regard, just as much as he does with his parents.

That's why he couldn't share office matters with Jin. He knows Jin would get too worried hearing about his troubles, and he doesn't want that.

Yoongi got up from his place and gave Jin a heartfelt hug. Jin was still seated, and he reciprocated the hug gently.

As Yoongi broke the hug, he planted a sweet kiss on Jin's forehead before sitting back down.

Seeing this, Yeoni started to cry, "Where's my kissi, Hyundgi?"

Upon hearing this, Jin and Yoongi both started laughing and got up from their seats. They hugged Yeoni from both sides and showered his face with small kisses.

And that's how their dinner ended.

Yoongi couldn't bring himself to say anything, but deep down, he was overwhelmed with emotions.

Back to Office :

If anyone knew about Yoongi's condition, it was Sumi, who had now become Yoongi's best friend.

Thank goodness the print came out fine this time. He was about to go upstairs when a slight darkness clouded his vision. He grabbed the support of the stairs and stood there for a moment.

Just then, Sumi was coming up. As soon as she saw Yoongi like that, she hurried down and grabbed his arm, asking, "Hyung, are you okay?"

Yoongi sat down on the stairs for a minute and then replied, "Yes, Sumi."
