Chapter - 15

At Yoongi's house,

As the darkness of the night grew, Jin's fear intensified. Luckily, Yeoni, being in her little space, had fallen asleep early, after asking numerous questions about her brother. It was almost 11:30 at night, and Jin's courage was dwindling. With fearful eyes, he peered out of the window. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. Jin nervously approached the door and opened it to find Yoongi standing there, completely drenched, with his head bowed.

Jin: "Yoongi, baby!"

Yoongi, with a tired smile, replied, "Hey, Hyung. I'm starving. Could you please give me something warm to eat? I'll go change."

Jin found this request a bit odd, but he was just glad to have his younger brother back home safe. (A/U - It's often the case that elder siblings act as substitute parents, knowing everything.)

As Yoongi walked away towards his room, he noticed Yeoni sleeping peacefully, sucking on her pacifier. He gently kissed her forehead and lovingly ran his hand over her hair before heading to change.

Hobi's House:

Hobi lay on his bed, his mind occupied by thoughts of only one person he encountered in the rain today: Yoongi. The tears in Yoongi's eyes seemed to have stolen sleep from his own. He couldn't understand what was troubling him so much.

Was it seeing Yoongi with someone else? Was it the fear of not being able to break Yoongi's spirit? Or was it the tears he saw in Yoongi's eyes?

Whatever it was, it was preventing him from sleeping peacefully.

Back to Yoongi,

Yoongi washed away his remaining tears with the water from the shower. He was exhausted. After changing his clothes, he descended downstairs.

Jin was on a call with someone.

Jin on the call: Yeah, he's here! You don't need to come; I'll take care of it.

With that, Jin ended the call. Yoongi asked, "Hyung, who was on the call?"

Jin replied, "It was Joon. He was worried when you didn't come home on time and wanted to go get you."

Yoongi remarked, "Hyung, Joon is really caring, isn't he? Whenever he's with us, it feels oddly safe."

Hearing this, Jin felt a warm emotion stir in his heart

Then Yoongi continued his thought, saying, "By the way, Hyung, don't you think Namjoon Hyung appears to take you a bit too seriously?"

Jin understood where Yoongi's comment was heading, but he decided it was best to ignore that aspect of the conversation.

Yoongi finished his meal, and then both brothers bid each other good night before heading to their respective rooms.

Morning Come's 

This morning was different from every other morning. After waking up early and finishing all his chores, Jin was getting ready to go to the restaurant and send both his brothers off to their daily work. It was 9 a.m., and the house was still very quiet, which made Jin feel uneasy.Jin remarked, 'Why haven't both troublemakers come downstairs yet? Let me go check!'

Heading upstairs, Jin found JunJun sitting beside Yoongi, gently patting his forehead with a worried expression. Jin was confused at this sight.

Approaching them, Jin asked, 'Baby, what are you doing?'

JunJun hesitantly replied, 'Soothing him, soothing him,' and moved away slightly.As Jin reached out to touch Yoongi's forehead, he was shocked to feel the heat of fever.
