It was wrong, Virgil knew it was. He was breaking bro-code or whatever. But he couldn't help it, he wanted, needed Roman. He's known Roman since they were in middle school, but they were never really friends. More a friend of a friend, or in Virgil's case, his best friend's brother.

Him and Remus were like twins, ironic seeing as Virgil was so desperately in love with Remus' twin. Him and Remus were always together, Virgil practically lived with Remus.

And that is where he is now, standing on Remus' doorstep waiting for the door to open.

He practically jumped out of his skin when it wasn't Remus who opened the door, but Roman instead.

Roman eyes were clouded with confusion, but he smiled nonetheless, "Hi, sweetheart, What are you doing here?" He asked, looking behind him into his house.

Virgil scoffed some, "Remus invited me?" He said as if it was obvious. Why else would he be here.

Roman sighed and shook his head. "Remus is out with some guy. Did he really not tell you?" Roman was aggravated, not with Virgil but with Remus.

Virgil's face fell, he had walked all this way just for Remus to not even be there. "No, no he didn't tell me. Sorry, princey, I'll see you later." Virgil turned and started to walk away.

"Wait!" Roman called out, Virgil turned around, "You're more than welcome to stay, love. We can some alone time." He winked, smirking at the blush on Virgil's cheeks.

Virgil shifted on his weight on his feet before nodding. Roman smiled and motioned Virgil in with his head. "Listen, love, my aunt and her family are here. But we'll go to my room and hang there."

Virgil nodded and followed Roman into the house. The twins mom noticed him first, "Virgil! Hello, hunny!" Virgil gave her a smile and waved to Roman's family. "You here for Roman this time?" She asked, Virgil blushed and shrugged.

"Aunt Marie, Uncle John, this is Virgil. He's mine and Remus' friend." Friend. That's all Roman sees him as, a friend.

Virgil conversed with Roman's family before finally slipping away to Roman's room with Roman.

He hadn't been in Roman's room many times, he had no reason to. Only ever coming in when Remus would send him over to get something from Roman.

Virgil didn't know what to do, so he waited for Roman's instructions. Roman laughed lightly at him, "I won't bite, baby," He said with a smirk, "Unless you want me to."

Virgil's face lit up into a blush as he hurried to Roman's bed. He settled himself with a good bit of distance from him. Roman rolled his eyes some and moved to lean against his headboard.

"You wanna watch something?" He asked, grabbing a tv remote that was on the table beside the bed. Virgil shook his head and scooted up closer to Roman, not catching Roman's fond smile.

Roman selected some random movie, it was mostly background noise as Roman struck up conversation with Virgil.

About mid way through the movie, Virgil had moved closer to Roman, he was practically laying on him, but Roman had zero complaints.

By the time the movie was over, Roman had Virgil wrapped in his arms. Roman ran his fingers through Virgil's hair, content with holding the boy.

"Roman?" Virgil mumbled, not looking at the taller. Roman hummed softly to show he was listening. "Is this wrong? I mean- Remus is my best friend, but here I am cuddling with you. Will he be mad at me? What if he hates me?" Virgil rambled on.

Roman grabbed Virgil's chin to make him look at him, "Virgil, listen, I don't care what Remus thinks, okay? Me and you can make our own decisions and my decision is to be with you. I've liked you for some time, I want nothing more than to be with you. Remus will get over it."

"You like me, really?" Virgil mumbled, looking up at Roman.

Roman leaned down and locked lips with Virgil, "Absolutely," He whispered once he pulled away.

Virgil smiled fondly, "My best friend's brother is the one for me."
