Mine & Only Mine

Chapter 3

<<DRAMATIC FRIENDS>>

After Hawk told her wife the condition and the contract for this said marriage, he went to Royal Academy to meet his friends at their usual hangout place.

Their hangout place is actually a renovated and beautified rooftop at the academy wherein permission is needed to enter this place.

Most groups of students have their own hangout place at the different rooftop on a different building some have free access while some are for private friends only, like Hawk and his friends.

As Hawk went there, he slam the door open startling his friends in the process. His handsome face scrunch up into a frown as his lips form a thin line, when his thought about his circumstances.

His other friends namely Travis, Shawn and Esquiee look at their friend questioningly raising their eyebrows in the process. But before they could ask why, Hawk sat down on their single chair and drank some water that is on the table.

"I'm married." Hawk said, the three friends took five minutes to process and to sink in on what he said.

The first one to react was Esquire, he has a pale white skin, lime green hair and he has electric blue eyes, whose soul looks like it would fly any minute now, walk slowly towards Hawks side and shook his left arm as he said "Pardon bro?! You're already married?! Since when?! Where was the venue? Is the food there good? Or, Is the food bland? Ohhh, Is it true that there would be two white birds or doves you and your wife need to fly to have an everlasting relationship or something like that?!"

Travis, who has cream-coloured skin, messy green hair and garnet-yellow eyes, is also shocked but his voice is painted by anger, he walks towards him as he shook his shoulders as he said "Bro, why didn't you even invite us?! We've been best friends before we were even born, how could you not send us an invitation? Are we not friends anymore? How come I have no invitation?!"

Contrary to the reactions of Travis and Esquire, Shawn, who has milky-white skin, blonde hair and azure-blue eyes, stayed quiet as he pondered on something that the two pay no mind to which is *This is so suspicious. I wonder who his wife is? Do we know her? I'm actually curious about who the girl that snagged our stubborn friend is.*

Hawk stands up and walks to stand beside Shawn to pry his two friends who are being overdramatic over this situation as he said "Guys, no need to fuss on things that will come to an end in no time. After all this marriage could be said as temporary."

With his statement his friends stopped abruptly as their eyebrows arch on his statement and a strange atmosphere settled in between them.

Shawn who is quiet the whole time turned to Hawk and said "Pardon? Care to enlighten us."

"This is just a contract marriage between us so-" Hawk started but was cut off by Shawn who said "What do you mean 'between us'?"

"Geez, this is an arranged marriage between our families. The reason is for me to transfer the land that was theirs in the first place to her but it can only be done if we're married for like three years. So, I made a deal with her that after she gets the land, we will divorce. She agreed and since she'll be here with us, we made an agreement not to bother  nor talk to each other when we're here in the academy." Hawk explained to them.

"Meaning to say, you made a contract with her without Aunty and Uncles knowledge." Travis inquired this time.

Hawk gave a nod to answer his question as he proceeded to walk to the door with Shawn trailing behind him who thought *I have feeling he'll do the opposite of what he said.*

"Ohhh yeah! Ambrosia is back, she'll probably be studying here too." Esquire said casually as he descended the staircase with them.

With that statement Hawk abruptly stopped on his tracks as he said "Like I care about her." He then proceeded to descend once again to head towards their classroom.

Travis, Shawn, and Esquire looked at each other as they each released a sigh as Travis said "You know bro, we know you. You act opposite of what you said."

Shawn who checked his watch panick and immediately run down the stairs overtaking Hawk in the process.

The three looked at him but Shawn shouted at them as he descended the stairs "Save the talk for later! We're going to be late on our first class!"

With that said the three descend the stairs as fast as they can and run all the way to their classroom.

When Hawk and his friends are talking at their hangout place, Rose who was still at their shared villa look at the handsome boy on the photo which is her husband and arched an eyebrow.

She tore the picture of his husband apart that was given by her mum and tossed it to the trash bin in her bathroom as she walked to her bed and mumbled "If he's the standard of a husband material then I'd rather grow  old alone."

She walked outside as she mumbled grudgingly "His looks may be above average but there is nothing worth praising aside from that. Gosh, why did grandma agree to marry me to someone with an attitude and he looks dumb too."

She packed her bag as she said "I better memorized his schedule so we won't meet in our house nor meet in our school. I also need to find a job so I won't use his money."

When Rose looked at the time her eyes widened in shock as she realizes that there is only fifteen more minutes before class start.

She immediately went outside of their house and ran towards their academy since the academy was only twenty minutes walk but since class is starting in soon, she need to hurry.

When she arrived in the academy, she bump into someone and since Rose is in hurry she immediately got up and said "I'm sorry, I was just in hurry I'm really sorry! Bye!"

After Rose left, she didn't realize that when bumping into that someone she dropped her ID in the process.

That someone picked up her ID and looked at her picture and said "Ohhh, so we're actually classmates. Guess I'll just give this to her when we're in class.
