Chapter 7

<<AN ACQUAINTANCE>>

As Rose slowly walked away, Hawk and his friends followed her retreating figure but didn't say anything as she went to the main back gate.

After her figure is nowhere in sight, Hawk heard a chuckle behind him, he turned around and saw his friends particularly Travis who has his right hands covering his mouth holding his laughter.

Esquire who is practically the same as Travis couldn't reign in his laughter and laughed out loud. Following Esquire's movements, Travis followed suit on the other hand Shawn looked away from Hawk clearly holding his laughter.

"Very funny, guys!" Hawk looked at them with a smile that has no hint of happiness at all.

With his statement, Travis and Esquire stopped laughing for a moment but heard a chuckle coming from Shawn.

They looked at Shawn but he looked away at them with his left hand covering his mouth and he pointed at something or particularly someone with his right hand.

The two followed where his right hand is pointing then they burst out laughing to the point they burst into tears.

Why they burst out laughing is because Hawk who just stand up looked like a pregnant woman with both of his on his side with his back arch a little.

When he noticed his friends laughing once again, a dangerous glint crossed his eyes as he looked at them, his voice laced with anger "Shut up!"

They immediately quited down as a shiver run down their spine from Hawk's voice.

While Hawk was dusting off his clothes from the dirt when he was thrown, Shawn coughed for a bit which caught the attention of his three friends.

"Why not go to the clinic first? To get your back check, that is." Shawn suggested which Hawk gave a nod.

Hawk looked at Travis and Esquire for a bit then his eyes settled on Esquire "Come with me to the clinic little four."

Travis released a sigh of relief that he unknowingly holding in.

But before Hawk and Esquire walked away, Hawk stopped for a moment then looked at the distance "Find out all the information you can get on that girl. Find out what year level she is along with her class. Find out everything and bring it to me tomorrow."

Shawn looked at him questioningly but his relaxed voice contained a hint of curiosity "Don't worry bro, consider it done."

Hawk nodded as a sign of appreciation and resumed his walk with Esquire towards the clinic.

When Hawk and Esquire's silhouettes are no longer in sight, Travis turned to Shawn whose left hand is on his chin and from the looks of it he is deep in his thoughts.

"That girl...is so awesome. No. She is so damn cool!" Travis enthusiastically said to Shawn who in turn looked at him.

"Yeah, she is something. But, I'm wondering who she is. From her stance earlier, she is very much experience."

"Now that you mention it, could she actually be an assassin sent by Hawk's  rival or his father's rival?"

"I don't think she's an assassin, I mean if she is one she wouldn't avoid us like we're some kind of plague especially Hawk."

"Well what kind of person is she? A fan girl of Hawk or his stalker or something. If that's the case won't that be even worse!"

Shawn internally strangled Travis within his mind for his stupidity while keeping a stoic expression. "Enough of that, let's go home, I need to find information about her and I'm curious of her too."

"Everything will clear out tomorrow."

Travis rolled his eyes but followed Shawn's order and walked towards their respective cars.

While Rose was walking her way back to their house a frustrated sigh came out of her mouth *He told me not bother him, shouldn't he do the same and not bother me too?!*

She kicked a stone that was on her path *It's been weeks but I still haven't found a job-*

Rose thoughts came into a halt as she stopped at a cafe outside is a poster that says hiring for a new employee.

"Oh my god, thank goodness this cafe is now hiring new employee!" She smiled at herself while saying that.

She didn't think twice and entered the cafe, in there she saw an employee just about her age and asked if she was applicable for the job they were looking for.

The employee around her age introduced her to a much older employee who looks like the manager or the owner of the shop.

With that she became an employee and will officially start to work tomorrow.

When Rose enter the academy, she felt something weird and as she walked towards her first class girls were now crowding around the entrance.

Murmurs and whispers were heard as the girls had an admiring light in their eyes.

"He's so cool."

"Even if he's standing there, he is still so handsome."

"I wish I was in the same class as him."

"Why is he even here though?"

"Don't tell me he's courting someone from this section!"

"Don't jinx it, I'm not ready for that kind of news."

Rose ignored the crowd of girls and rolled her eyes as she slipped past them but no matter what she did they wouldn't budge.

Rose became agitated by this situation, and she pushed her way through the crowd of girls and looked at the person in question who was causing the scene in front of her classroom.

When Rose was now in front of the hoard of girls, she looked shock as she saw the man leaning against her table looking bored out of his mind.

The person in question looked up and his bored expression brighten up when he saw her.

"You! What are you doing here?!"

The guy leaning on her table smirked at her "Hey Miss Strong! Can you go out with me?" While saying that he blinked his eyes at her.

His statement caused an uproar among the students especially the crowd of girls that is present.
