<<NEGLECTED SWORN BROTHERS>>
Hawk answered the ringing phone as his eyes flash with a hint of annoyance and his tone laced with a visible dissatisfaction "What?!"
Travis's voice burst through the speaker of his phone as he was a bit taken a back by his friends tone "Dude, where are you?"
Travis looked at his phone for a moment since Hawk didn't bother to answer immediately *What going on? Shouldn't I be the angry one and not him?*
Hawk contemplate on his answer as he first look at Rose then proceeds to give Travis an excuse that is believable "Huh?...Ohhh, yeah I got stuck in traffic."
Travis became dumbfounded by his friends lame excuse as he accidentally said his thoughts on his phone "Bro, what a lame excuse."
It was quite on the phone for a moment as Travis heard Hawk replied "Lame excuse, huh?!"
Travis who realized his mistakes immediately said "No, that was a mistake I shouldn't have said it out loud. But bro, traffic in our country was never an issue."
Hawk was lost for words as his friend clearly shut down his argument, he said in embarrassment "Why do you care?"
His friend was rejoicing in his mind 'cause he knew that he won an argument against his friends.
Travis lightly fake a cough as he said in all seriousness "I've been waiting here for an hour now, and you're still not here, my dear friend."
Hawk totally forgot about the appointment he and his friends made the moment he laid his eyes on her. With that said, he looked at Rose and he was surprised that she was already looking at him.
Hawk once again turned his attention on his phone as Rose break their eye contact. He said in a more convincing tone "Ah, I'm not coming anymore. I got called back home by Mom. She told me to go there with my wife to join dinner with them."
Travis became confused by the sudden excuse and said with suspicion "Didn't you just told me that there's traffic so you couldn't come here early?"
Hawk rolled his eyes at his friend as he feign ignorance and said "Did I just said that? I don't remember."
"So, what's the real reason?" Travis pry even further.
"I got caught up by something... unexpected and important." Hawk said as he looked at Rose who was also looking at him.
"Just tell Shawn and Esquire that both of us are not coming." Hawk said as he hung up the phone and continue looking at Rose who was engrossed in her work.
Travis looked at his phone and thought *What's so important that he's neglecting us? We're sworn brothers. He's been like this a few days now.*
He closed his eyes as he put his right hand on his chin *Could it be that he's in love? But I don't think so, I mean even Ambrosia didn't sway his cold heart.*
He called Shawn to ask about the suspicious behavior of Hawk.
"Yeah?" Came the bored voice of his friend.
Travis didn't beat around the bush as he quickly got to the point "Do you know that Hawk acts weirdly these past few days?"
"And?" Shawn said clearly uninterested by the topic.
"So, is he like in love or something? I've read this type of scenario in books and I also watch it in some movies, like when you're madly in love with someone you tend to ignore your friends." Travis said ranting to Shawn about it.
This piqued Shawn's interest a bit but it quickly faded and was replaced by a bored tone as he said "Are you sure? Or you're just hallucinating. To be honest, you tend to believe things without having enough evidence to prove it."
"Maybe... I'm just hallucinating." Travis said resigning to his suspicions of Hawk.
"Ohhh yeah, also I ain't coming and so does Hawk, he got held up by something important so he can't pick me up." Travis said.
"Don't fret, our meetings cancelled, Esquire got called by his parents and I... I'm not really up for some arcade today."
"Nice! I was wondering-" Travis didn't finish what he said as Shawn ended their call.
*It's a miracle I'm not pissed yet given how my sworn brothers acted today.* Travis released a sigh as he went back to his penthouse.
*Is Hawk about to be a love sick human-being? But, yeah Hawk being that would be...* He didn't finish his thoughts as he doesn't want to imagine his friend being lovey-dovey on someone.

Rose thought to herself as she went to her usual seat *Here we go again, just another ordinary day in this academy.*
Her class went without a hitch. Before they're class ends, they were interrupted by their P.E. Teacher to meet them at the gymnasium as they would play a sport.
This would also serve as their tryout for that specific sport.
As their break is upon them, Rose packed her things to head to her usual place but while doing that she overheard her classmates talking.
"Yes, finally! We can now enjoy our physical education."
"I wonder what we'll play..."
"I hope it's not chess again. I almost failed in P.E. last time because of that sport."
"Hopefully something fun, with team plays and also have bigger points than last time."
Rose heard all this but doesn't seem to care as she headed to her usual place.
Maybe it's because she's tired from her job last time and given that her 'husband' is staring at her the whole time, she's less vigilant today.
When Rose finally ate her snacks, she laid down on the bench and immediately feel asleep.
The guy who's slowly falling for her and the one she bumps into on her first day of school look at Rose.
An amused expression evident on his face as he thought *So this is what you do here. Why are you so tired?* He wondered for a moment then left to go to his next class.
A few minutes after the guy left, Rose's alarm went off, and she groggily walked towards her locker.
She went to her locker, took out her P.E. uniform then she went to the bathroom to change and put her uniform on her locker along the way while she headed to the gym.
