Chapter 6

As Rose repeated her process of inhaling and exhaling, she is thinking the need to be normal. *But how can I  do it? How do you walk normally without gaining suspicion?*

She calmed herself down by changing her perspective *Rose, don't forget what he said, he said to not talk to him and pretend we don't know each other. So basically, just ignore him and his friends.*

She put on her hoodie that she bring barehanded just in case she would use it, and what do you know it came in handy *Just walk super fast and everything is going to be alright. Alright Rose, show time!*

As Rose walked with her head down, she didn't notice Hawk abruptly stopped followed by his friends as he pivoted his left foot and turned his head to face his friends.

"Let's go to-" But before Hawk could finish what his gonna say he let out a hissed as someone stepped on his left foot.

Rose heard Hawk hissed so she stopped for a bit turned around and slightly lowered her head as a sign of apology then quickly walked away as if everything was normal.

Hawk who didn't see Rose slightly lowered head turned around and saw that person walking away like everything is fine.

Esquire who noticed his friend's scrunch up face, worriedly say "Bro, does it actually hurt?"

Hawk turned around to face his friends "It doesn't hurt."

Travis raised an eyebrow at his answer "Then, why is your face like that? Like someone who's about to cry"

"That person didn't even say sorry knowing it's their fault! Am I invisible to that person?" With that said he jogged to catch up to Rose who was casually walking away.

He caught up to her as he held her arm turning Rose around in the process. Rose was shocked at what he did and so is he.

Time stopped for a moment as they looked at each other in the eyes. Clear turquoise eyes met crystal blue eyes.

As they held eye contact, they were interrupted by a munching sound of a food, they both turned to look at the source of sound and saw Esquire and Travis munching popcorn in hand and Shawn was holding a soft drink on his left hand.

Esquire who was going to eat a piece of popcorn put it down for a bit and gave them a slight wave while laughing a bit then he continued eating his popcorn once more.

Travis looked at them intensely "Don't mind us, continue what you're doing please." and ate his own popcorn while looking at them.

Shawn on the other hand, looked at them seriously then raised his right hand and gave a thumbs indicating them he gave his approval for them to continue what they're doing.

To clear the awkward atmosphere that was created by his friends, Hawk cleared his throat and faced Rose "Say sorry to what you did."

Rose averted her eyes from Hawk lowered her head to Hawk slightly  which implies sorry.

Hawk who didn't understand the gesture looked confused as his grip on Rose's arm loosed a bit. This gave Rose a chance to slip and walk away as if the business with him is settled.

As Hawk recovered from his shock, he saw Rose about to enter the back gate so he jogged for a bit and held Rose's shoulder in place.

*I'm glad his the only one who recognized that I'm a female and not his friends, I'm sa-* Her thoughts were interrupted by a hand on her shoulder.

Her knowing a self defense technique grabbed Hawk's hand and moved her foot backward a bit then pulled Hawk close and threw him over her shoulder, in short she threw him.

But because of her action the hoodie that was covering her fell off,  the moment she combed her hair backwards her hoodie undoubtedly went backwards as well.

Shawn and Esquire's expression painted a look of disbelief as they found out she was a girl *What? The one who stepped on Hawk's foot is a girl?! Was it intentional or just a coincidence?!*

On the other hand, Travis had a look of disbelief on his face *This girl... Is so amazing, she throws Hawk like he was nothing.*

Travis whose expression is painted in disbelief slowly turned into laughter. He burst out laughing thinking that a girl bested his good friend.

The two looked at him then Esquire joined him as they laughed together while Shawn covered his mouth but it is visible that he is holding his laughter.

Hawk sat up from his lying position but felt a sharp pain on his back while doing his abrupt movements. He didnt mind it and glared at his friends and with this action his friends shut up immediately.

Hawk kept his eye contact with his friends for a moment but then turned his head to look at Rose who was quitely slipping away from the commotion she caused.

Hawk and Rose held eye contact once again as thoughts swirled on their head while maintaining eye contact with each other.

*I was just asking her to apologize to me! I mean does she have to throw me over her shoulder? Was it really that hard to just say sorry! Why does she lower her head?*

*Does he not understand the meaning behind my actions? Does he not understand it's a form of apology? Besides didn't he told me just to ignore him when we're in the academy?*

*How can she just ignore me? Am I someone that she can throw so casually? I mean this is me Hawk White, does she not recognize me? I am so gonna make her pay for throwing me like I'm nothing.*

*I should have ignored him but he can at least be thankful that I said sorry to him. Wait a minute! Does he not know it's me, Rose Cind, his wife? Then am I safe? This should be alright. My life will be back to normal.*

Rose released a sigh of relief and lowered her head to Hawk for the third time then made a quick escape by running immediately.

Luckily there are no students nor professors around to see the commotion that they caused.
