Rhaelys was late for a council meeting and rushing through the corridors. She entered the room and took a seat.

"I apologize for being late your grace, my lords. Motherhood waits for no one."

"Shall we continue?"says Alicent.

"It is said Lord Grover's son now rules Riverun in all but name."says Lord Jasper.

"Well his also a Tully and this remains a Tully problem."

"I would agree."says Viserys.

"If we may continue-"says Tyland Lannister.

"And yet the brakens and the Blackwoods would use any excuse to spill each other's blood. So this dispute bares looking into. There would be country folk along the lines have been drawn for generations."says Rhaenyra.

"That is easy enough." says Lyonel.

"Of course." Says Alicent.

"Ser Tyland."says Lyonel.

"We should address the latest developments in the Stepstones my lords."

"The stepstones?"asks Rhaelys.

"Can't we just shut up about that blasted place."

"Well I think that the brakens have the upper hand."

"We've moved on to the stepstones Lord Beesbury."says Orwyle

"And the triachys new alliance with dorne."says Tyland.

"I was hoping our negotiations with Sunspear would persuade them otherwise to trust a Martell is to be disappointed."

"Prince Qoren Martell has a daughter, Aria Martell. Perhaps a wedding pact could persuade them. Aegon is of marrying age."

"We don't know if he will accept."says Lyonel.

"There is no loss in trying my Lord Hand. Send a messenger not a raven. If dorne allies themselves with the triachy, who knows what will happen."

"Princess Rhaelys is right we should try all possible ways. A splendid idea."says Viserys.

"And where i wonder is our prince Daemon? Or should I call him king as he styled himself when he won a battle there, once."says Jasper.

"That was a decade ago and he has since left the region undefended."says Alicent.

"We have left it undefended, there should have been fortifications built, watchtowers, a fleet of ships, a garrison of soldiers sent to hold our ground."says Rhaenyra.

"We cannot afford it. Our coffers are large not infinite. We need to think of the people living here. Do you want them to starve to death? They already have so little."

"If that is all?" Alicent said while getting up.

"Wait. I wish to speak." Rhaenyra says.

"Sit down."said Viserys.

"I have felt the strife between our families of late my queen and for any offense given by mine,I apologize. But we are one house and long before that we were friends. My son Jacaerys will inherit the Driftwood throne after Laenor, I propose we betrothe him to your daughter, Helaena. Ally ourselves once and for all."

"A most generous proposition." says Viserys.

"Additionally, if Syrax brings forth another clutch of eggs, your son Aemond, will have his choice of them. A symbol of our goodwill."

"Rhaenyra." Said Alicent.

Rhaenyra looks down and notices the wet spots. "Seven hells."

"My dear, a dragon's egg is a handsome gift."
