The latest costume challenge took an unexpected turn when Coach decided to get the whole team involved.

At the end of practice, she gathered everyone in the locker room, a mischievous glint in her eye.

"Alright, team," Coach began, "we've had some fun with these costumes, but now it's your turn. I want you all to come up with the next outfit for Y/N and Lynn to wear at the next practice."

The team erupted in excited chatter. Zia and Margo immediately took charge, gathering everyone's ideas.

After much discussion and plenty of laughter, they settled on a theme that would be both hilarious and challenging: a pair of giant animal onesies.

The day of the big reveal, Y/N and Lynn arrived at the rink, curious about what their teammates had concocted. They were met with grinning faces and a large box wrapped in bright paper.

"Go ahead, open it!" Zia urged, barely containing her excitement.

Y/N and Lynn exchanged wary glances before tearing into the box. Inside were two oversized animal onesies—Y/N's was a bright green dinosaur with a tail, while Lynn's was a fluffy pink unicorn complete with a horn and wings.

Lynn held up the unicorn onesie, shaking her head with a laugh. "Seriously, guys?"

Margo grinned. "You bet. We thought it'd be a good challenge."

Y/N couldn't help but laugh as she inspected the dinosaur costume. "Alright, let's do this."

They changed into their costumes, feeling ridiculous but determined to make the best of it. As they stepped onto the ice, the team erupted into laughter and cheers.

"Looking good, you two!" Zia called out, snapping pictures. "This is definitely going in the 'Costume Chronicles.'"

Despite the laughter and teasing, Y/N and Lynn found themselves working even harder to complete their drills. The costumes were cumbersome, but they managed to navigate the ice with surprising agility.

At one point, Y/N's dinosaur tail got caught on the goal net, and she stumbled. Lynn, seeing her teammate in trouble, skated over quickly to help untangle her.

"Hang on, I've got you," Lynn said, working to free Y/N's tail.

Y/N laughed, slightly embarrassed. "Thanks, Lynn. These things are tricky."

"No kidding," Lynn replied, adjusting her own unicorn wings.

As practice continued, the team's spirits were high. The costumes brought a sense of camaraderie and fun, lightening the mood and fostering teamwork. By the end of practice, Y/N and Lynn were exhausted but in good spirits.

After changing out of their costumes, the team gathered around, still buzzing with energy.

"That was awesome," Samantha said, high-fiving Y/N. "You guys did great."

Eddie nodded in agreement. "Yeah, and you looked hilarious doing it."

Lynn grinned, glancing at Y/N. "I have to admit, it was pretty fun."

Y/N smiled back. "Yeah, it was. Thanks for making it bearable, Lynn."

Zia and Margo joined them, looking pleased with the day's events. "You two really rocked those costumes," Margo said.

Zia nodded. "And it was great to see everyone working together. We should do this more often."

As the team dispersed, Y/N and Lynn found themselves walking out of the rink together, feeling a sense of accomplishment and a growing bond.

"You know," Y/N said, breaking the comfortable silence, "I think this costume challenge is actually helping us."

Lynn laughed. "Yeah, who would've thought? Maybe we should thank Coach."

Y/N smiled. "Maybe we should."
