After the series of costume challenges and a successful practice session, Coach decided it was time for a different kind of team-building activity.
She gathered the team together at the end of practice with a mysterious smile.
"Alright, team," Coach began, "we've been working hard, and I think it's time for a break. Tomorrow, we're going on a little adventure. Dress comfortably and be ready for some fun."
The team buzzed with excitement, wondering what Coach had planned.
The next day, they all met up at the rink as instructed. Coach arrived, leading them to a large van.
"Hop in, everyone! We're going to the Adventure Park," Coach announced.
The ride to the Adventure Park was filled with chatter and laughter.
Y/N sat next to Lynn, the tension between them almost non-existent now. They were excited for a day of fun outside of the rink.
Upon arrival, they were greeted by the park's staff who explained the various activities available: zip-lining, rock climbing, obstacle courses, and a giant trampoline area.
The team's excitement reached new heights as they split into groups to tackle different activities.
Y/N, Lynn, Zia, and Margo decided to start with the zip-lining. As they climbed up the tower, Y/N felt a rush of adrenaline.
"I've never done this before," Y/N admitted, her eyes wide as she looked down from the high platform.

Lynn grinned, adjusting her harness. "It's a blast. Just trust the harness and enjoy the ride."
When it was Y/N's turn, she hesitated briefly before leaping off the platform. The exhilarating rush of wind and the breathtaking view made her laugh with delight. When she landed, Lynn was there to give her a high-five.
"That was amazing!" Y/N exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
Next, they moved to the rock climbing wall. Y/N and Lynn found themselves competing, each trying to reach the top first. It was a close race, but Lynn's agility won out by a fraction of a second.
"You're getting faster," Lynn said, out of breath but smiling.
Y/N laughed, shaking her head. "I'll beat you next time."
After a few rounds on the obstacle course, where they helped each other through various challenges, the team regrouped at the giant trampoline area. They bounced around, performing flips and tricks, the laughter echoing through the park.
At one point, Zia and Margo challenged Y/N and Lynn to a trampoline dodgeball match. It quickly became an all-out war, with everyone diving and bouncing to avoid the soft balls flying through the air.
Y/N and Lynn found themselves teaming up, their competitive spirits meshing perfectly as they strategized and executed their moves.
"Gotcha!" Lynn shouted triumphantly as she landed a hit on Zia.
Y/N laughed, high-fiving Lynn. "We make a pretty good team."
As the day wound down, the team gathered around a picnic area to share snacks and stories. The camaraderie was palpable, everyone feeling closer and more connected after the day's adventures.
Samantha turned to Y/N. "Today was awesome. We should do this more often."
Y/n nodded in agreement. "Yeah, it's great to see everyone having fun outside of practice."
Margo grinned. "And you two," she said, pointing at Y/N and Lynn, "are unstoppable together."
Lynn laughed, glancing at Y/N. "It's been a great day."
Y/N smiled, feeling a warmth spread through her. "It really has."
As they packed up and headed back to the van, Y/N and Lynn walked side by side, chatting about their favorite moments from the day.
The slow burn of their friendship had turned into a steady flame, fueled by mutual respect, shared experiences, and a growing understanding of each other.
On the ride back, the team was tired but happy, already talking about their next adventure.
Y/N leaned back in her seat, content and looking forward to whatever challenges and surprises lay ahead, knowing she had a solid team—and a growing friendship with Lynn—by her side.
