It's been 2 days and I am already missing you. People say time heals things. I don't know if it's true, because time has done nothing but worsen things. It started with a lovely morning you sleeping beside me and me waking up and kissing you because that's what I did.
I just had to attend the office. Why couldn't I have taken a leave and stayed at home? I would have been able to protect. You made breakfast while I was taking a shower. I came out and you what you normally do, came closer to me and kissed me on the cheek. I was blushing. You pulled me towards you and hugged me. You hugged me real tight. I wish I would've stayed, but fate had other plans. You made mango shake and God, how tempting it was. While eating my breakfast, you drank your tea and just caressed my heart.
I tied my shoes and hugged you. You wouldn't let me go but it was getting late. I wish I had stayed.

I rushed towards the lift and you kept seeing me while I waited for the lift to come. Me annoying you by singing songs. Me making noises to annoy you. I entered the lift and you saw me the whole time while the lift was closed.

I rushed towards the car and started driving. I called you and I started driving. I wish I would've stayed at home or I would've left 5 mins late. I was talking to you and that stupid truck came and just collided with the car and I was drenched in my blood. Just before it happened you had to rush to the bathroom and that is probably the best thing that happened in the day. You wouldn't have to hear me scream in agony and pain. I know you called me again because I could see, my phone blinking but couldn't reach there and I am still sorry for not picking up your phone.

People came to the rescue but honestly, it was late. While I was taking my last breath I cherished our memories together for one last time. It's been 2 days now and I am already missing you.
