All my classes had finished so I was heading to my dorm to put all my books away and relax for a bit. However, as I was walking I got stopped by a few guys who decided to block my way. I couldn't move forward so I now landed myself in trouble.
"Hey, you! What's your name?" One of the guys asked.
"Why does it matter." I awnsered.
"Come on, stop playing hard to get." He said.
"What do you mean 'hard to get'. I was just trying to walk back to my dorm." I replied.
"Come on, lean in closer." He responded.
However, before I can saying something someone moved the guys out of the way and I had the chance to run. I tried to quickly glance and see who it was but no one was around. So I decided to run to my dorm. There I found it. Room 102. I sighed before entering my dorm.
"Phew." I mumbled before leaning on the door.
"What are you doing?"
I looked infront of me. It was Tomioka-san. His tall figure intimidated me. He was from my hometown and we went to the same high school. He was a year older than me and our sisters were friends. They were also in the same hospital with the same illness. I knew him from a lot of places but we never talked much.
"Why are you in my dorm." I asked.
"Your dorm?" He replied.
"What do you mean by that? This dorm doesn't belong to anyone else." I said.
"It's actaully my dorm." He said.
I was now confused. Why was Tomioka-san in my dorm. And now he was saying its his dorm. He isn't the type of guy to joke around so why is he doing this? Why is Tomioka-san in my dorm? What exactly is he doing here?
"This is floor one, room 102. My dorm." I responded.
"Actaully this is the second year's dormitory. Here room 102 is on the second floor. You must've gone the wrong way." He replied.
That made a lot more sense. I knew there would never be a day where Tomioka-san would joke around like this. I must've turned the wrong way but how did I not realise that I was on the second floor. Am I really that dumb? I sighed before heading out.
"My bad, I'll leave now." I say before opening the door.
"Don't go yet." Tomioka-san said as he closed the door and pulled me closer.
"Huh! What are you doing?" I asked.
"Those guys from earlier are here. Can't you hear them talking?" He responded.
"So you were the one who saved me." I replied. "How did you get here quicker than me even though I ran at full speed?"
"You took the long route. I took the short one." He said.
That made sense. Tomioka-san must know everything about this place. He's been here for a year unlike me who's only spent a day here. He must know all of the long and short routes around this place.
"I see." I replied.
"I'll tell you when their gone." He said.
Just then, I heard a voice. It wasn't Tomioka's voice and it wasn't coming from outside. It was probably Tomioka-san's roommate. Tomioka let go of me. I had completely forgotten how close we were and it embarrassed me.
"Wow Giyuu, you brought a girl to our house." Sabito said.
I was kind of glad it was just Sabito. Him and Tomioka were my upper classmen back in high school. Sabito was one of the guys who tried arm wrestling Mitsuri. Sabito was quite friendly. No one ever knew his last name because of how everyone was on first name name basis with him. He reminded me of Tanjiro.
