The sun rose lazily over the horizon, casting a golden glow across the beach. The remnants of the previous night's party lingered in the air—a few scattered beach chairs, empty cups, and a lingering sense of joy and camaraderie. Rina stretched and yawned, savoring the early morning tranquility. It was the perfect time for some quiet reflection before the day's activities began.
She wandered down to the shore, feeling the cool sand beneath her feet and letting the gentle waves lap at her toes. Her thoughts drifted back to the night before—a blur of laughter, music, and the warm presence of her friends. Satoru's playful antics, heartfelt conversations, and the sense of unity had made it a night to remember.
Most vividly, she recalled how they had all agreed, in a fit of drunken camaraderie, to wear Hawaiian shirts the following day after losing various bets.
Just as she was getting lost in her thoughts, a pair of voices pulled her back to reality. Yui and Shoko were approaching, each carrying a brightly colored water gun.
Yui was wearing a grey Hawaiian shirt with a subtle diamond pattern, black shorts, and flip-flops. Shoko sported a light green Hawaiian shirt adorned with tiny yellow flowers, black shorts, and flip-flops.
Their expressions were a mix of excitement and mischief, and Rina could already sense that they were up to something.
"Good morning, Rina!" Yui's voice rang out cheerfully, breaking the peaceful morning atmosphere. Rina looked up with a small smile. "Hey, Yui. What's up?" she greeted him warmly.
Shoko grinned broadly, waving a water gun she had found like it was a prize. "Look what we found at the seaside bar! They said we could borrow them for the day. How about a water gun fight?" she proposed excitedly, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.
Rina chuckled at their excitement. "A water gun fight? That sounds like a blast," she replied, genuinely amused by their enthusiasm. "But who's going to clean up the mess afterward?" she teased lightly, raising an eyebrow.
Yui rolled his eyes playfully. "Oh, come on, Rina. Don't worry about that. We'll clean up after ourselves," he assured her, his grin widening mischievously. "Besides, this is payback time for all those bets we lost last night."
