Getting Revenge on Cassandra's Circle

September 15, 1980
At Laguna Creek High School, the girls arrived from their bus and Meridian gave Ruby the Sharpie marker to write on Cassandra's locker, that time before everyone got to their 1st period classrooms but now the hallways are empty but there are few quiet students far away from Ruby and Meridian. Ruby took off the marker cap as she wrote on the locker: "Cassandra is such a loser, she has been nasty like she didn't took a bath in a year and she is a homeless woman. She's now unpopular and geeky because she has zits! That's what everyone doesn't deserve her!" When Ruby finished writing, no staff were out on the hallways as they giggled at the locker. The bell had rung at first and everyone looked at the locker's words but when Cassandra came in the main door on the right, several students were giggling and whispering at her as Ruby and Meridian moved backwards from everyone. Cassandra came to her locker and read the words as everyone laughed at her and now they went to their 1st period classes. She rushed to the girls washroom really angry and she wrecks everything such as breaking the mirrors and the sinks as she sat down, bursting tears and swearing out some words. During Ruby and Meridian's classes, they heard Cassandra's name heading to the main office, they knew that their prediction had worked.

After the 1st period, the Wilsons have the same class as Ruby's classroom in the 2nd period was Literature for freshmen. The literature teacher Mr. Rhys Holmes took the roll call of freshmen and the Wilsons are in the same seats in front of Ruby's seat. When Mr. Holmes wasn't looking and he's writing on the board, Ruby chews the mint gum and sticks it onto Sarah's hair when she isn't looking, even she chewed another gum and sticks it onto Cassandra's hair, connecting gums to Sarah's hair. Ruby chuckles at her revenge on the Wilsons and when Mr. Holmes finished writing on the board, he didn't notice Ruby sticking the gum onto the Wilsons' hair. After the 2nd period, Ruby had giggled and the Wilsons cried out that someone had stuck gum on their hair and Ruby told Meridian that she took revenge on them 2 times as they went to Mrs. Morrow's class.

At the 3rd period of AP Human Geography, Mrs. Morrow allows Meridian and Ruby to be partners so that Merry would help Ruby to study and understand this AP course. And also Daniela and Nicole are partners and everyone else were partners. Before class ends, Mrs. Morrow reminds the students that tomorrow is Picture Day at the gym. Ruby stated to Meridian that she won't be ugly for tomorrow but she'll make Daniela ugly as well after school by cutting her hair. Meridian said that it'll be fun to get revenge on her by sneaking into Daniela's house.

After school, they went to Daniela's house and knocked the door, Daniela's mother knows Meridian a lot and she gave permission to let Ruby inside the house and there is no need that Ruby could tour the house. Ruby and Meridian found Daniela's room and Ruby asked her "Should I give you a haircut?" And Daniela agreed and Ruby took out the scissors and cuts her entire hair real quick and they ran away. Daniela screamed and Meridian had pranked her.

Picture Day || September 16, 1980
Today is their first picture day, the event where students take pictures and they will be in the new yearbook in 1981. As all of the starting freshmen were called from A to Z, Ruby was placed in a box area of freshmen whose last names starting with B but she is separated again without Meridian with her V-initial freshmen but the O-initial students had laughed at Daniela's haircut after a male teen had took her wig and head covering. After the several students with their B initials took their picture, Ruby is up next and she smiled correctly to the camera, and after Nicole, Daniela puts on her wig back and made a fake smile after being humiliated except Ruby and Meridian. After all of the students from grade 9 to 11 took their pictures except for seniors, they went back to their classes and Ruby saw the homecoming dance poster and its date due is September 26. Ruby saves the date in her notebook and took the picture of the poster, even a student in her sophomore grade asked her for a copy of the poster and Ruby said that she had the picture from her camera but it's blurry from now on, she took the copy of the poster and throws the picture in the trash. The senior class advisor was ready to work on the yearbook in November after Halloween.
