October 27, 1980
Meridian left for school except Ruby because she was feeling sick. Meridian had known all of her geographic studies in AP Human Geography since the first day of school. At Laguna Creek High School, Meridian understands the schedule for the AP Exam in 1980, even her other AP class has an exam for next year. Daniela and Nicole are in the same day's exam with Mrs. Morrow and after the 1st bell rang, Meridian went to her class and told Mrs. Morrow that Ruby wasn't here for the exam because of her illness. Mrs. Morrow might have to mark it as Ruby's retests after she feels better. Meridian went to her seat and started to take the exam while everyone is doing it.
Meanwhile at home, Ezra opened the door and saw that Ruby is still sleeping. Ezra tried to wake her up but Ruby said that she was still sick and she doesn't want to go to school because of the AP Exam that Meridian might be working on. Ezra told her that she could go back to school on Tuesday, three days before Halloween.
After school, Meridian had passed her AP exam and her report will be sent soon. Meridian told Ruby that Daniela gave her the tea bag for her that she could get better. Meridian made tea and Ruby cranked all of it because it tasted like red chai tea. Ruby might have to come back feeling better tomorrow and Mrs. Morrow will retest her.
