October 26, 1980
There is no school for today and it's Meridian's 14th birthday. She is dressed up as a blue-themed dress and she heard that some songs were playing on the vinyl that were from the 1960s, Ezra bought them, even she stole a CD at the store before Ruby's birth in 1966. Ruby went out of her room dressed in a baby-blue top and flare jeans. Ruby heard the 1960s songs in order and Meridian knows them such as Skeeter Davis, Lesley Gore and Linda Scott, that teenager who sang "I've Told Every Little Star" back in 1961. Ruby asked Meridian why Ezra had inserted her songs on the vinyl and Meridian swore "It's because she's been playing that crap all morning!" Ruby said "OK but your friends are coming soon to your house!" and Ezra's room is still locked for a private personal reason.
Meridian's friends and their family came such as her friends' parents and siblings. Daniela asked her if mom is still awake but Ezra is still sleeping. Nicole also asked Meridian how did Ezra bought the CD songs from the 1960s and Meridian remembered as a child when she asked Ezra how she got the CDs.
April 1966
In the music store, Ezra was pregnant while Ruby was in the womb and she had a lot of dollars to buy some CDs and suddenly, she had stole 1 vinyl song after purchasing them as she went out as a woman saw her hiding it and said that she cannot steal.
Back in 1980
Now back in the present of 1980, Daniela thought out that Nicole's mom preferred to like that song called "The End of The World" but Daniela's mom also likes "It's My Party" better because it fits Meridian's birthday. Nicole whispered to Meridian if she has AP exams with them for tomorrow after her birthday and Meridian might have to study after her birthday party ends. Everyone had left her party and Meridian cleans up her party supplies, only the cake must go in the fridge. In her room, Meridian starts to study her AP stuff for her upcoming exams and saw Ruby covering up in bed, Ruby said that she was sick and won't be going to school on the next day. Meridian might as well do the AP exam without Ruby while she was sick.
