After school at night, Ruby and Meridian are attending the homecoming dance at Laguna Creek High School's gym. Everyone had inserted their tickets to the senior student that has the permission slip in front of her, right before this date. Ruby wears a light-strawberry colored dress with sleeves, similar to the late 70s and Meridian wore the V-shaped light blue dress with short sleeves. It's already fall and they have to wear jackets because of their long dresses. Daniela's encounter named Nico is a teen driver and they went into the car and sends them to the school gym. Ruby and Meridian starts to dance with everyone with music back in the late 70s and 1980, Ruby was feeling a bit hot with her jacket and took it off.
Meridian has that time to vote for the homecoming court that has 4 packs of Post-it notes, representing to write someone from grade 9 to 12 and each of them vote for anyone. After everyone writes on the notes to the ballots, the senior class president named Emma Davies had announced that this year's homecoming court is a 4 group of kings and queens through their grades. Everyone clapped at them and Ruby feels like she didn't enjoy the homecoming dance. After the dance ended, Nico had took them home expect for Daniela and Nicole. Ezra was still sleeping in her room and the girls sneaked in real silent as they went into their rooms and changed their clothes to get some sleep because there will be no school again in the weekend.
