It's October and Meridian's birthday is in 10 days. Before school ends, Mrs. Clarke gave all the girls the slips that contains their class colors for the pep rally tomorrow after the lunch period. Before the final bell rings, Ruby changed her clothes and said that freshmen only can wear teal like the school colors while seniors will wear white. After school, Ruby and Meridian had the pep rally tickets for the big event tomorrow as Ruby got a bright idea to do. She took out a blank empty envelope and writes a note for Daniela and Nicole. Meridian doesn't think that they'll notice Ruby's envelopes and doodle some funny stunts on her. When Ruby finished writing the 2 of papers, she packages them into the envelopes. Ruby walked with two envelopes and sent them to Nicole and Daniela's houses. Daniela and Nicole starts to read all of the papers that Ruby wrote as they snickered at her notes. They only have their rally tickets. Before school tomorrow, Ruby and Meridian had the requirements to wear the teal shirts that they have in their drawers.

Today is the pep rally at Laguna Creek High School and all of the freshmen wear teal, sophomores are gold, juniors are black and the seniors were wearing white. The pep rally hasn't started yet because all of the grade class presidents are preparing it in the gym including the graduating banners but the senior posters are a lot. Ruby and Meridian knew that they don't have Mrs. Clarke's PE Class for today and after their 5th period-home room. After their 4th periods, they went to the lunch table outside and Meridian saw a gang of girls who are now dancers, maybe Meridian thinks that she was a cheerleader before and a girl asked her to join the cheer group. Ruby just ate alone at the table and after lunch, Ruby went to her 5th and 6th period classrooms and told her teachers that she's going to the pep rally in the gym. At the gym, Ruby is now in the freshmen side with Daniela and Nicole on the bleachers as they wore teal attires. Meridian was still on the floor with the other cheerleaders. While the pep rally starts, a male senior student was wearing a caricature wig and a white shirt representing the school's class colors and he starts to speak to all of the entire students in this school, starting from the freshmen to seniors in the class of 1981. The dance-off had started off with the teachers and entertainment such as the seniors playing games like the tug-of-war and trying not to pop the balloon while its stuck on their backs.
Finally the cheerleaders are here and starting to cheer before the fall sports begin and Meridian had tried her best by dancing like she practiced a few days ago like today. A boy in his sophomore year starred at Meridian when she finished cheering with the girls, as she threw the rose at Ruby. The male senior student again had spoke to the microphone and now he's speaking out someone's names that have been participated in the previous fall sports.
After School
It was a good pep rally as the girls went home after school. Meridian told Ezra that she'll be turning 14 in a few days. Ruby is still 14 years old, Meridian must have been born in 1965 to be an older sister of Ruby. Ezra would like to invite someone to Meridian's birthday party, sincerely her friends and their family.
