[I know its a very late update but I have been struggling mentally and physically with my routine and its tough to write good chapters along with translations which take a lot of time. Hopefully you guys r still enjoying the story and have not left it cuz I defo need ur love and support and comments for it to continue. Abhishek went down to see if Mayank was still at the door but he saw him leaving with anger evident in his walk. Mayank was a mystery for Abhishek, a puzzle which he really wants to solve. Abhishek doesn't understand if its just curiousity or some more underlying feelings. He takes fast steps to catch up with Mayank and grabs him by his wrist.

He stops to catch his breath and then asks, "Kya hua? Bhaag kyun rahe ho?" (What happened? Why are you running away?)

Mayank regains his composure and replies, "Main nahi bhaag raha. Bass ghar jaa raha tha." (I was not running away. I was just going back home.) As he turns around to leave, Abhi again holds his hands.

Mayank asks in annoyance, "KYA HAI?" (WHAT IS IT?)

Abhishek was tired of this cat and mouse game. One thing that Abhishek despises the most is questions that he doesn't have answers to and right now Mayank was his biggest question.

Abhishek pulls Mayank closer and says, "Tum batao. Kya chupa rahe ho mujhse." (You tell me. What are you hiding from me.)

Mayank hisses as he tries to get rid of Abhishek's grip on his hands, "Tumhe kyun batau. Sirf ek din huwa hai hume mile." (Why should I tell you anything. Its just one day since we met.)

Abhishek: Aur Ishan ko..usse toh saalon se jaante ho. (And to Ishan...You know him from years.)

Mayank tries to look away. He has never met someone who can see through his façade so easily. He doesn't like how transparent his shell is to Abhishek.

Abhishek: Nazarein churaane se sach nahi chupta. Main tum par zor nahi kar raha...par main jaanta hoon. Kuch toh rishta hai tumhara iss ghar se jiske darwaaze ko bhi tum paar nahi karte. (Stealing away your eyes wont hid the truth. I am not forcing you...but I know. You have some relation to this house whose doorstep you don't even cross.)

Mayank looks up and meets Abhishek's eyes which softened with the eye contact.

Abhishek whispers, "Mujhpe bharosa nahi kar sakte toh matt karo par khud ke andar kuch chipa kar matt rakho Mayank. Maine tumhari aankhon mein darr dekha hai jab bhi Shubman Ishan ke kareeb hota hai. Tumhari aankhon mein aansoo dekhe hai jab tum unke pyaar ko samajhte ho. Tumhari aankhon mein gussa dekha hai iss ghar ke logon ke liye. Ek baar bass ek baar.." (If you don't trust me, its okay but don't hide yourself Mayank. I have seen fear in your eyes whenever Shubman is close to Ishan. I have seen tears in your eyes when you understand their love. I have seen anger in your tears for the people of this house. Once just once..)

Mayank immediately wraps his arms around Abhishek and hugs him. Since he lost his family, nobody really understood him. He built a mask of a normal boy-next door who was happy with how his life was. His identity was a mystery to most of the town. To the town, he was a boy that got separated from his parents and found by Nikhil Markande on a train station. His uncle made that story up. Because even as a kid his life wouldn't have been spared if somebody found out who he was.

Abhishek was shocked by this sudden hug and Mayank breaking down on his shoulders. He slowly raised his head to return the embrace and tried to calm Mayank down. Now he knows something is surely wrong. He couldn't place exactly what but he will find out. Not because he hates mysteries but because he wants to help his new friend.
