"You may not think it now or even when you were little, but compromises are everything. If you promise someone you want them by your side you got to be there by their side in order for them to do the same for you, Musa. Compromises are at the heart of empathy and a fiery compassionate heart set into flames of joy. At first it may seem sour to take these first steps, and you'll find yourself on the ground cause you've been weak in the knees and weak with your mouth and words and most of all your mind." Uma preached out loud.
"I'm sorry I don't quite understand." stated Musa back. "Never been taught to look at anybody else's lives this way."
"There's your first problem, have you ever interrupted your past boyfriend who broke up with you? Answer it honestly, please." Uma coached
"Yes, three times in three different conversations."
"First lesson of a compromise and the first stepping stone to reach an empathetic heart. Active listening is what you need to begin doing." stated Uma. "Actively listening! I bet you have a hunch what it means, Skylights out there! This ain't just a lesson for romanticism. It works in any friendship. To be an active listener means being genuinely interested in what others say and being so attentive that you're absolutely not to barge in or interrupt them with judgement."

"🎶🥁Everyone says Teamwork makes the Dream of your life work. But Effort and Compromises lie down deeply contained within the roots of Compassion caused by Empathy it sets your heart warmly aflame!
When you really listen digging down deep till you reach the other side of the earth
It's then you're really grounded and rooted on the right path filled with love and sunshine
No matter how rainy or gray or misty the skies overhead might get!

You get more with sweetness
It shows you care
That you're not indifferent!
But you, my girl, you have a fear of Commitment
And a fear of Workaholism
You won't get anywhere in the rest of your life
Lest you lift those fears right off your shoulders!
They gave you your loss of breath when we fought
That made you stumble
They turnt you inside out
When something good
Knocked you right off your feet!
To survive a sea surf
You got to learn to swim
Your distant way to shore!
The effort and strength in every stroke needs to be shown and used
Or the waves will indeed take you under!
And if you've not been taught to hold your breath then
You'd probably drown, Musa!

You think you're a privileged little angel!
But trust me no one this Earth is that divine!
Whether it's your world or mine!
You can't get perfect out of a person who's fallen short before!
Be thankful though some of your flaws can become your greatest compatible strengths!

I see a Princess of Music stressing out
Right in front of me!
Don't be ashamed that I can read you like an opened book
Your posture tension and your sour Cheshire grin practically gives every detail away!

I sense some childhood trauma, parental loss. You were close to your Mom at a very young age!
But then you got thrown around a whirlwind of heart-aching heartbroken father whose only coping mechanism was to stay mad all the time!
Don't speak, young Windchime!
Let me say I know how that feels!
All my own Mother does is be mad herself!
She gets mad at me like no one else ever does!
I got along better with my Father but then he passed away never to see the sunshine again but he instilled me a lesson I won't forget!
Some foes make better friends than rivals!
We may be misled misguided having to forcefully arrange our loyalties!
These loyalties will not be meant to stick
Unless we put forth the actual effort in to listen actively!
Sharpen up your ears girl like one sharpens a pencil
When you have a test to Ace!
Don't let your needy Princess slipping and slide on through, Fairy of Music!
You of all should know!
Best songs come from the core of Empathy!
Doesn't mean your angry side ain't there!
He's just not being the first constant wave in response to everything happening around you!

Put judgements back far back into the far back of your mind.
We have a sense of self and we have control of every little thought
We do or do not have to entertain!
Guard your mind to Guard Your Heart
And Your Core Flames will bubble and burst and sparkle through the blue night sky!
Take a breath, hold your tongue back for a good long hour and actively listen without barging in, Mus-sa!
Stop to think about how your butting in consistently makes the other person in front of you feel!
Step into their shoes and walk their life out in your imagination!
Use your idealism in a positive way to help you grow!
Imagination ain't bad but it can be just as blinding as too much realism!
Actively listen and try not to barge in why people pour out their problems even if it's something they dislike about you.
When you barge in so much you don't hear and you don't get a clear understanding of other people's feelings and where they maybe coming from.
So I urge you open up your eyes next time you see an awkward conversation unfold stay silent and listen to both of those friends' sides of the story without brutally barging, judging or interrupting them, lady!
