Evie shouted with glee on her clubhouse street, her voice bubbling with excitement. "VK Day is here! Who wants to join us in Auradon?"

A surge of voices erupted, but one stood out. "It's Evie! Is Mal almost here?"

"She's right on her way," Evie reassured the thrumming crowd of children; her excitement mingling with anxious anticipation.

"Really? You haven't told them at all that only four are getting picked?" Musa asked her voice tinged with concern.

"It's complicated, Musa. I'd love to do more, but it's not allowed." Evie's smile faded, revealing a hint of frustration beneath her optimism as she spoke currently.

"Maybe I can alter some minds," Musa proposed, a mischievous spark lighting her eyes.

"Believe me, remember my song? Inadequacy—Auradon people can only deal with so much change at a time. Four students are all they can handle currently." Evie's voice reflected her reluctance, disappointment creeping in as she recalled how Ben's father had denied their attempts to increase the number.

"That's ridiculous," Musa retorted shaking her head. "All good kings must listen to their citizens, whether they like them or not."

"I agree, but Ben isn't brave enough to stand up to his dad's prejudices and grudges, so all the responsibility falls on Mal. It's a little annoying," Evie admitted, crossing her arms in frustration. Just then, she spotted Mal approaching, accompanied by a familiar face. "Ah, here's Mal, with Mr. Smee."

"Thank you, Mal, for getting me away from my Captain. He's a little too dependent on me," Mr. Smee said, relief evident in his voice.

"Oh, don't I know it." Mal replied with a wry smile. "Celia, what's going to be in my future?"

"You want your tarot card reading? I want to earn my keep," Celia said playfully.

"I'll pay you," Mal offered.

"Deal," Celia said, gesturing to a small deck of cards. "Draw one of these three."

Mal picked the middle one, and Celia turned it over, revealing a flame spouting from the back. "The future is bright, Mal," she declared, her voice filled with a mix of hope and excitement. She held out her hand for payment, and Mal placed some cash into her palm with a grin.

Jay & Carlos start off the song in a shout chanty way. "🎤🎵From the North to the south
Evie & Mal: from the East to the West.
Jay & Carlos: Lost boys, lost girls. You are know you're the best.
Hit the streets it's your day
Turn it up! Now's your chance! (You can clearly tell the boys start the song not Evie & Mal and yet nowhere is it labeled, Skylights.)
All: It's time to get up on your feet and dance!

Mal: Anybody wanna be like us?! Everybody wanna be like us!
Carlos: All the boys from Auradon and the girls cuz' they know what's up!
Evie: Your life could change today! Your life could change today!
Jay: These streets named after us cause we paved the way!

Mal: Everyone come and take your shot!
Now, it's to show em' what you've got! Ahh-ah!
Cuz everyone's gonna get their chance.
They said that being from The Isle was bad -

All: Well, it's good to be bad!
And we're the proof of that.
Used to be lost -
Now we're on the map.
Used to steal stacks -
Now we're giving back!
Remember that.
Bad!
If you've got pride, raise your "V's" up high. Wave em' wide, side to side. Feel the vibe
It's good to be bad!

Evie: I wanna see you all rep your block
I wanna see you all rep your block
Show your pride- let me hear your shout -
We're from the Isle of the Lost!
We're here to celebrate -
We're here to elevate!
If you're down -
Then make your move but you best not hesitate!
