"How long have you had that Mogwai in you, afflicting you with that irritating, dampening pain?" Evie asked, her brows furrowing with concern.

"Three years, Evie. My teammates managed to get rid of theirs. Stella's was a rain type too, and during the dusk preceding it caused its defeat, it caused huge amounts or chaos. Flora's was an air type that made her rage skyrocket at Helia without any real cause and Icy unknowingly killed it with her ice powers. Our second set of friends were affected too, except for two of them. And then there are five of our boys who've also been affected—not my boyfriend, though. When he broke up with me, he was in his right mind and honestly, he was right."

"The Mogwais, all types, their goal is to inflict pain on whomever they can, totally leaving them vilely humiliated," Evie explained, her voice grave. "Yours is particularly difficult because its water nature means fire can't stop it, and it can multiply if it gets close to any source of water. The Mogwai will also want to kill and drink their victim's pain. If my father is right, the Mogwai in Maleficent's scepter is female; she has the ability to morph into the guise of a lady burdened by a broken heart and exact her vengeance on those she once loved—the ones who betrayed her. She has a ravenous hunger for destruction."

As Evie spoke, Musa opened up her phone and began texting Electra and Bloom about the situation.

"Remember back in Season 4 when Faragonda told you this?" she continued, her fingers flying over the screen. "Yes, all your Magic Dimension enemies are in here: the Ancestors, the Trix, Lord Darkar, and Lord Valtor; there are even some forgotten relics of the past that you might one day have to face. These are like Magic Shadows against which a fairy must make her light shine brighter. I've found out what formed the shadow residue in Bloom, Flora, Stella, and me, and the boys—it's called a Mogwai, a rain demon. They appear during dark rain and use the rain to multiply themselves, wreaking havoc on everything and everyone they touch, leaving their victims humiliated and in pain. Stella and I have been fighting the rain demon. Bloom, you had the air type to contend with, Flora—back in Season 3, you were fighting the earth type, which has secondary fire powers."

Meanwhile, both Bloom's and Electra's phones beeped on the bus on Earth, drawing their attention.

Electra gasped. "It's Musa!"

"I know!" Bloom replied her heart racing. "Let's see what she found out." She opened the message and began to read it aloud to the group, her voice steady.

Musa says, 'I found out what attacked the rest of us in that dark rainstorm on Solaria. It turns out it was several different types of Mogwais—a piece of shadows with intent to humiliate and inflict pain for others.
"Bloom's aka mine Mogwai was the air type, which I fought off with Pyros' wild dragon fire and got my Enchantix that way. We need to be careful; those rain demons can multiply using dark rain, and they try to leave their victims feeling humiliated and in pain. Also, there's a female version that takes the form of a woman with a broken heart—she'll kill anyone who loves her. Stay alert!'" Bloom noted as she s

Meanwhile, back in Musa's & Evie's room, mirror Aisha looked up at her own reflection as Flora confronted the shadow residue man. The image shimmered, revealing Flora's glass version continuing to hold up fighting against the rain demon.
"My glassy water illusion against him are useless, Flo; I don't think I can keep this up. "Get real backup from the real world, please!" Flora told her proud confidence creeping into her voice.

"Glassy Thickets!" Flora shouted, summoning her environmental magic to combat the multiplying forms of the Mogwai. Flora stepped forward, keep the shadowy mass at bay. Flora's glass nature magic radiated power and beauty, momentarily holding off the threat.

"I will humiliate you all! The ground will devour what opposes me!" the Mogwai threatened, its voice filled with malice. "This world reeks of fear, judgment, and broken hearts. I will end you all!"

As the tension built, Aisha's mirror version glanced at her own reflective face leaning against the wall, acutely aware that the water powers she mirrored would have no effect on the rain Mogwai, other than potentially aiding him. It was clear that she needed to seek further help. Taking a deep breath, she stepped back into the mirror, leaving Flora's shimmering, glass-like reflection behind. The creations made by Cassy possessed their own willpower, echoing the reflective energy of their fairies. Aisha understood she needed to summon something more powerful to confront this looming threat.

Back on the private bus ride with the Winx girls on Earth.
"Roxy, I think I will be the first to join you on the Renegade fairy quest problem," Aisha stated resolutely. "I can't help you help with Musa. My powers would be useless against this thing; I'd just be hindering our teammates."

"But we can't help in that world until the ban on magic powers is lifted or delayed, girls," Bloom countered, her tone serious. "The world is terrified enough as it is. It's amazing that Musa's powers haven't leaked yet. We don't want to upset the belief system and tip it further against our favor, Winx Club."

Meanwhile Previously back in Auradon in the Descendants' world Audrey struggled to sleep in her soft bed in the middle of the night herself; her mind racing with turmoil.

"I raised you to be a perfect role model like your blonde mother, and you lost a perfect prince to a stranger—a villain's daughter who didn't deserve it! You let all our perfect plans go down the drain in vain!" her grandmother, Queen Leah, scolded sharply.

"Queen Leah, there's no such thing as a perfect plan! And I am not my mother! I am not meant to be a recreation of Aurora!" Audrey shot back irritation boiling within her.

"Nonsense! You are what I say you are and if it's the last thing I see you do, you will win him back!" her grandmother retorted, her voice filled with authority.

"Just because you want to change the course of events doesn't mean it will lead to your favored outcome, Granny. I don't hate Mal for stealing Ben; I hate her for stealing my reputation—not a man my heart never ached for! I was the only 'the cool girl' (Disney Descendants' Audrey says this directly about herself in a conversation with Ben before Mal gives him her love potion.) until the VKs were brought over by Ben!"

"You will follow in your mother's exact footsteps, and don't you dare belittle me or talk back, insolent child! It is your destiny to replicate every talent of your mother!"

"What you're asking for is insane and impossible! I can't replicate another person whose being cursed made her glow with an unnatural, untamable beauty, enhanced by the love song of others!" Audrey exclaimed, frustration spilling over.

"Make it possible, then, Audrey. You will be a Queen or I don't want to see you at this castle again, granddaughter. Start by getting rid of that dirty brown hair, Princess!" Queen Leah commanded her tone final. "It makes you look silly for a princess and not serious enough!"

Audrey woke up panting, the fight reverberating in her mind from the night before the Cotillion party released on TV which she watched personally. Her grandmother's constant gaslighting had been a plague in her life, controlling her every step and leaving her in emotional turmoil. It was excruciatingly painful, igniting a heartburn of resentment and despair within her heart.
