The Musa Reprise Song of Empathy is here.

Musa's eyes began to well up in tears; the impact of Electra's earlier song to encourage Roxy and the younger musicians hit her hard when Evie offered her a position to add music into clothing designs that embraced the silence too. Now she understood what Lori and Uma meant—only two to three of her best songs hadn't been completely dry. The fourth one hadn't been written by her; Flora and Stella had written the lyrics to *The Power to Change the World*.

In the quiet of their shared space, Evie sat on her Ming-style bed, reviewing the sketches she had made earlier while the soft lighting cast an inviting glow around the room. She noticed Musa seemed lost in thought, her eyes glistening with unshed tears as she reflected on their earlier conversation about music and emotions.

Evie felt a surge of empathy, understanding the weight of Musa's experiences. Inspired by her friend's vulnerability, she quietly reached for her camera and held it just out of Musa's sight. With a gentle smile, she began recording, hoping to capture this moment of authentic emotion without startling her friend.

Musa, still immersed in her feelings, finally allowed herself to process the complex swirl of emotions that accompanied her memories—her lost voice, the pain of her past, and the unconditional support of her friends. As the tears began to fall, she felt the full force of the song that her friend Electra had written during her darkest days. It had always resonated deeply, but now she could finally grasp its true power.

Without fully realizing it, Musa began to hum softly; the melody flowed from her heart, and Evie recognized it immediately, wanting to preserve the magic of this moment. The lyrics unfolded in Musa's mind, intertwining with the tears of release that streamed down her cheeks.

From somewhere deep within, she found her voice and began to sing.

"🎶Gather 'round, girls and boys...
Pick up your instruments and follow my lead,
it's time to teach you all about letting assertiveness and empathy dominate your anxious feelings and frustrated angry states.
Anxiousness makes your magics weak.
That is why it failed.
You got to be brave and bold.
Say no to those words and feelings—
Frustration is anger and disgust and resentment!
Those all make up anxiety. They stack up into each other!
Disgust can build all the rest up higher and higher!
We hate villains mostly because we ended up disgusted by what they doooo!
Hatred is an aggressive, angry disgust that goes too far!
But she doesn't always mean to go so loose all the time!
That's where resentment helps us help her out!
Resentment is etched with sadness—the idea and concept of making us feel bad and embarrassed about something we should never have done!" 🎶

Musa's voice, albeit shaky at first, grew stronger with confidence and emotion, escaping the confines that had held it for so long.

As she sang, the words hit home with a ferocity that she hadn't felt before, memories of her journey merging with Electra's powerful message. "🎶Emotions grow and are stacked one on top of the other. You can't have one without all the others! It's what makes us, us!🎶"

The room was completely captivated by her performance. Both girls felt every word wash over them, resonating with their own experience.

"🎶Listen up, feeling sad.
Maybe you don't know why!
Use it!
Feeling down.
Gonna cry!
Everyone says it's depression and depressing,
But it doesn't have to be looked at like that.
You know one of the most powerful gifted byproducts of resentment is the empathic emotional state of your mind and heart. Empathy waits at the top of your heart, waiting to let her loose!
Because letting Empathy loose is a better thing than letting aggression loose!
This is why from now on, I won't hate to lose
Like I did before!
Empathy is pouring out of my heart!
To naysayers, 'Go ahead and say, "But why?!"'
I'll live my life the way I need to—oo!
Let empathy guide my every footfall forever after! 🎶"

Electra's presence felt alive in Musa's voice as she poured herself into the song. Evie's heart swelled as she continued to record, entranced by Musa's sincerity and the newfound depth her friend brought to the song.

"🎶She is the grandchild of emotions of disgust and anxiety, but she is the daughter of Sadness and Embarrassment, and her twin brother is Resentment!
These two work like a perfect sibling pair!
The most perfect ever around, girls!
I'll live my life the way I need to—ooo!
Not a lie!
Let empathy guide my every footfall forever after!
She is the grandchild of emotions of disgust and anxiety, but she is the daughter of Sadness and Embarrassment, and her twin brother is Resentment!
These two work like a perfect sibling pair!
The most perfect ever around! 🎶"

With each verse, Musa embraced the emotions that swept through her—sadness, joy, anger, and ultimately, empowerment. The room felt alive, electric with the energy of her voice.

"🎶When everything is over your head
Watching it pass on by!
A tear is waiting to fall from your eye—
Let it go; let it fall!
Followed by your loneliest sighs!
Let them be heard!
Let them all hear
Of your empathetic state of mind! 🎶"

As she continued, Electra's words became a cathartic release from the burdens Musa had carried for so long. The emotional intensity of the room reached its peak, creating a space for healing and understanding.

"🎶In my room, at night, I used to sit awake,
Waiting for the next breath to take,
Waiting for the next smile I need to fake.
Resentment spun the wheel
And Empathy reached out her hand.
She said, 'Don't be embarrassed; this is normal!
Walk with me, I'll show you a way better way!' 🎶"

Musa locked eyes with Evie, her voice carrying a vulnerability and strength that made Evie's heart ache in recognition. This wasn't just a performance; it was a shared journey, one that resonated deeply within the walls of their friendship.

"🎶Look at you. What do you see in yourself?"
I reply and respond, "A lonely soul that used to be me!"
"Well," she answered, "That shall change today,
because I can help show others you're lonely in the right way
and help you make friends too—much better, safer friends
than the ones you've had from your past years.
Me and my brother Resentment remember those things,
so you don't have to, Electra!"
That is what Empathy said to me. 🎶"

As Musa's song reached its climax, the collective breath of the room was held. They were all completely caught up in her transformation, held in the warmth of her newfound strength.

"🎶Feeling sad,
Alone and depressed.
Resentment and Empathy came to calm the hurricanes in my mind
With outstretched hands to help me off the floor
and one big trio hug to get me perked up again.
Who knew there were these tears
I had to suppress?
These two emotions helped me release them!
And I find out it wasn't so bad
To be lonely and sad!
Let me go!
Leave me alone.
You don't know how good
It is to say,
'It's not so bad to be lonely and sad!' 🎶"

As Musa's voice faded, the room fell silent, each girl absorbing the emotional magic of what they had just witnessed. The powerful message of empathy and acceptance lingered in the air as tears glistened in Evie's eyes, filled with pride and love for her friend.

"🎶But it will wanna make you go
To a place of love,
The only place that remains
Far above!
Let empathy guide you up each rung!
She'll lead you straight and right
with an occasional nudge from her twin brother Resentment! 🎶"

As she finished, Evie turned off her camera, knowing she had captured something extraordinary. "Musa," she whispered, her voice thick with emotion, "that was beautiful. I'm so proud of you."

Musa, overcome with the intensity of her performance and the release of her emotions, nodded, grateful. "Thank you, Evie. I didn't realize how much I needed to share that... Thank you for letting me."

In that moment, the bond of friendship between them deepened, a shared understanding forged through empathy, music, and the power of healing. They had both discovered something profound—together.
