Durvasa visiting Krishna. He wanted Krishna and his wife Rukmini to drag the chariot in which he was sitting. This was Durvasa’s way to demand respect to his greatness. When Krishna and Rukmini were dragging the chariot, Rukmini felt thirsty. Krishna stopped the chariot and made Ganga change her course and give Rukmini some water. Durvasa became furious because Krishna did not ask his permission for changing Ganga’s course. He cursed Rukmini that she would be separated from her husband Krishna. The arrogance of Durvasa seems to know no bound. He treated Krishna and Rukmini as his personal slaves, who needed permission from him for everything.
