Mitali's pov Time passed quickly and today is my engagement I am getting ready while everyone is teasing me.I suddenly recieved a message from Adi,I checked it ,it stated 'send me your pic😉' I was smiling at it when my phone was snatched from me by Aahana "Hmmm to jiju utaavle ho rhe hai vatta tyanni gudhgyala bashing bandhlay" she giggled (gudghyala bashing bandhlay is a marathi phrase for saying he is eager for marriage) I said "Are Aahana de na phone pleasee" "No talking to jiju now you will meet him soon janeman" she stated everyone laughed at her antics.While I remembered the times we used to be this close but those are bygones I guess.

Aditya's pov I was in my room I just got ready and messaged moon asking for her pics just then I heard a voice "hmm to bhai ko raha nai jaa raha bhabhi ko dekhe bina"Kabir teased "Are usko to uss raat se hi chain nai tha kyu adi"Vihaan smiled and winked at me leaving Kabir confused"Kya hua bhai ye konsi raato ki baate ho rhi hai??"Kabir enquired and Vihaan narrated him the whole incident "Wahh bhai to aap bhabhi ko pehle se hi gher ke rakhe ho"he chuckled just then Papa came along with Chachu "Are uncle aap ne meri shaadi miss kardi mai aapse naaraz hu"Vihaan said where papa responded"Sorry beta had an urgent meet in Italy"Vihaan understood it was something about their mafia business and kept mum.
Time skip Authorpov
It was time for their engagement Aditya was was waiting for Mitali's arrival just then kabir said"Are bhabhi aa gayi" Aditya turned around just to get lost in her beauty his eyes not leaving her Vihaan whispered "Are kaise dekh raha hai nazar mat laga meri bhabhi ko"Aditya just glared at him at the moment,Soon they exchanged rings.The room burst into applause,Mitali couldn't look at Aditya not being able to handle his intense gaze towards her.That gaze made her feel numerous butterflies in her stomach .
Mitali's pov Since the moment I have entered I can feel his gaze on me ,damn its so intense.I am so glad that my aaji and maavshi didn't create chaos and function went smoothly though their faces were not the happiest.We were just silently sitting on the couch after exchanging rings watching others dance and enjoy themselves just then he whispered extending his hand "Will you like to dance with me jaan?" My heart fluttered he just called me Jaan i am feeling entire species of butterflies to ever exist in my stomach.I somehow managed to nod and took his hand,we headed towards the dance floor and the song 'DEKHA HAZAARO DAFA AAPKO' played.I was nervous,I had never danced in this manner,just then he said "Its ok don't be nervous ,just follow my lead" and I simply nodded
Aditya's Pov Man she was looking like a godess my godess,from the moment she entered my eyes were fixed on her ,me THE ADITYA SINGH RATHORE who was never allured by any woman was gawking her.We didn't speak even after exchanging rings.Then I asked her would she dance with me to which she said yes,my heart fluttered with excitement, as we made our way towards the dancefloor I could see her nervousness so I said "Its ok don't be nervous just follow my lead"to which she nodded. Soon my right hand held her petite waist while her left hand was on my shoulder ,we entwined the fingers of our other hands and danced to the rythm of the music,then I asked her "Are you comfortable by me holding your waist??" To which she replied "yes" and then we continued our dance lost in each other and soon the function came to an end.
