Okay so, imagine this:
The universe isn't empty and there are planets with life everywhere.
And uh they're sorta like Earth, but like with varying cultures, y'know?
Everyone had their own theory about why they were alone in the universe, until one day.
Specifically..
On a little planet called Araxamus..
.
.
.Name: Araxamus
Government: Transgalactic Command.
Class: M
AU: 1.3x10^8 km.
Climate: Temperate Desert Plains (former), City Environment (present)
Inhabitants: Transgalactics.
Satellites: Com-Relays (Artificial), Arash (moon), Dense Rings.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A pale blue ball shines brightly in the orange light of its homestar.
Large megalithic spires pierce through the atmosphere as the ships coming from The Inner Reaches dock and land on them.
Workers dismount and scurry about. They pass each other hurriedly as they enter the airlocks. They either exchange extremely short conversations or barely acknowledge their existences.
The gargantuan monoliths of metal and wires are filled with the hustle and bustle of thousands of people trying to keep their tails from ramming each other from all the commotion.
The air is tense and bright lights from screens above seem to be flashing messages in a language you and I wouldn't be able to understand.
Many workers are tripping over themselves to get into the elevators to reach the surface.
Speaking of the surface..
Hundreds of kilometers below is a sprawling landscape of several miles of cold desert. Very sparse vegetation.
Many small divided ringed cities can be seen from up here.
Nary a Tram-line connecting them together. Even rarer across national borders..
The sound of whooshing elevators and speed warning alert systems can be heard.
The orange sun basks everything in a light afternoon glow as it sets over the horizon.
After a couple of more minutes, the aforementioned elevators finally slow down and land on the surface.
The quiet on the surface has now been broken by the masses leaving in droves heading off into what appears to be a central city.
...
There's a certain dry crispness to the air.
The sky is a blue-ish gray, but beams of orange sun spill through the dense canopy of clouds.
There's a large courtroom with intricate medieval stone carvings with red banners and carpets lining every wall and floor.
It is an open auditorium and along with the natural sunlight, the pale dim light of the rings above gives everything a peaceful glow.
However, the calm is immediately broken when hundreds flood through the innately carved stone doors, all rushing into the central arena.
Guards who were trying to keep the chamber shut were flung immediately onto the hard tiled floors.
...
The building is circular in shape with an elevated pier in the middle of wooden stands with crowds of people now rushing in them.
