"Are you ready for court Mr. Wright?" Josuah spoke as they at in the court room waiting for everyone to arrive.

They went over everything again and again and again and now they were waiting for Sevyn to arrive.

The court filled up quickly, with the jurors, the prosecutors, bailiffs and reporters. Joshua and Jamari was now waiting on Sevyn who should've been there when they got there.

"All rise!" The bailiff spoke, as the chamber doors opened revealing the judge. Jamari looked over at Joshua waiting for him to say something to ease his anxiety.

"Where is Sevyn?" He quietly spoke to Joshua as they stood up waiting for the judge to tell them to sit down.

"You may be seated. Are the prosecutors and defenses ready? I see this is the case of Jamari Leeks Wright against the state of Delaware for Nori Woodson for first degree murder." The judge spoke as he read through the files in front of him.

"Well your honor my main witness has not yet arrived."

"Approach the bench Mr. Joshua." The judge spoke angrily, he hated when people wasted his time and liked for things to be conducted in an orderly fashion.

"My number one and only witness has not yet arrived sir. I don't know where she is, but she did promise to be here."

"Are you able to handle this case without your witness sir?"

"I—I can try but I don't know how the jury will take it. But I know my client is innocent."

"Well let's proceed." The judge said then banged his gavel and the court session began.

Sevyn sat on her couch, staring at the news channel waiting for the announcement of Jamari's case. She wanted to be there so badly but she didn't want to risk her life or his. She cared about him deeply and she figured staying away was safer for the both of them rather than testifying. She had a strong feeling that the jury would find him innocent.

She waited for about an hour, pacing back and forth, biting her nails waiting for the news.

After about three hours the news channel finally had a report of the verdict.

"We are now collecting word of the final verdict for the young man Jamari Wirght. The jury couldn't come to an agreement so it will be considered a hung jury. While they wait for the trial to be reopened and try the young man again, although he is 17 Jamari Wright will be served as an adult and will be waiting in federal prison for a new trial. Such a sad day were our young youth is taking from us from the judicial system." The reporter spoke.
