Today was Monday and it was official the beginning of winter break for school. Jamari knew that all the people from his school would be around his neighborhood and he dreaded that.
No one from his school has seen him around after him being released from jail and he liked it like that. He didn't have time for the questions and didn't want to hear what the people thought about him.
Jamari decided to get up and get his day started. He needed to go to the school and figure out if he would be able to graduate come June, he knew the Principal and office people would still be lingering around due to them always working non stop, then he needed to go to the sneaker store to see if he could get his job back.
Standing up and stretching his body, Jamari walked over to his closet to choose an outfit for the day. The man took out a pair of black jeans, with a white t shirt, an all black American eagle hoodie, and paired that with a green fitted hat, black puffer jacket and all white g fazos.
After placing his clothes on the bed he picked up his phone to look at the time then noticed a message from Sevyn. Immediately smiling at the woman who texted him, he engaged in conversation with her then hopped right in the shower.

Once he was done with his shower, he got dressed then walked down the hallway to go to the kitchen to grab a water bottle and a rice Krispy treat.
"I should've cooked something." Jamari mumbled as his stomach growled. The man shrugged his shoulders then made his way out the door, making sure to lock it in return.
He walked in his driveway going to get his car, reversed it and double parked on the street, putting his hazards on.
Before he could get out the car, Sevyn walked towards his car and opened the door then sat down in the passenger seat.
"Hey Ja." Sevyn smiled as she handed him a plate of food. Jamari looked over at her and mugged her.
"What?" She looked at him curiously.
"Don't open your door, you know I do that shit. But what's this?" The man asked as she opened the container that had egg, bacon, hashbrowns and some fruit.
"I made you some breakfast, cause I know all you probably had was some water." Jamari smiled at how well she picked up on things.
"First off I also had a rice Krispy treat." He laughed and looked over at the woman rolling her eyes.
"I'll drive so you can eat." Sevyn spoke as she began touching the door handle but Jamari pulled her hand.
"Okay okay my bad." Sevyn held her hands up in defense. Jamari shook his head and put the food in her lap so he could get out the car and switch spots with the woman.
