"So what did he say once you told him you quit?"

"Well we honestly just laid there until we fell asleep but the next day he just made it clear that he wants to take care of me and he wouldn't mind me being a stay at home girlfriend."

"Girl what? If a nigga ever told me that he would have pussy for breakfast, lunch and dinner." Sania playful joked then took her sip from her mimosa.

"Of course you would say that." Sevyn playfully
said back

"I'm so happy for you sis, would you do it though? Or would you find another job." Cherish added on.

The three girls were currently at brunch, it was early Monday afternoon and Sevyn just got out of her early morning class. Cherish wanted to get out of the house so they decided to catch up and get a bite to eat.

"I don't know, wouldn't that mean I would have to constantly cook, clean and make sure the house is up to par 24/7. I don't know if I have the engery for that."

"Well listen I would rather do that for a man that would take care of me physically, emotionally, spiritually and financially than do it for a bum nigga who can't even afford Olive Garden." Sania said which caused all of them to bust out in laughter.

"You right. But damn I don't know." Sevyn spoke again. She was really contemplating her choice. Jamari made it very clear he would take care of her and he had the funds to do so.

"would you move in with him or vice versa?"

"We haven't talked about it and I really don't want to yet I'm happy living with you." Sevyn said answering Cherish's question.

The three of them finished brunch and Sevyn dropped Cherish at her new assistant manager job at a local boutique while she headed to the library to study for the final exams that were coming up.

Finding a quick parking spot in front of the library, Sevyn put her car in park and gathered her bags to head inside.

Before turning off the car the phone rang. She took her thumb and swiped it across the screen seeing it was Jamari.

I'm at the library right
now I need to study.

at the barber shop?

And with that, she ended the call and made her way inside to start her study session.

Studying for 3 hours straight gave Sevyn a headache she has never felt before. Her eyes were dry, her head was thumping, her knuckles and hands were sore.

She desperately needed to hydrate herself, so she drove to Dunkin and picked up two strawberry refreshers and one glazed donut.

Making a quick pit stop to the local CVS, she grabbed two bottles of Tylenol and a heating pad since she knew her period was coming on soon. Once she was done with her quick errands she looked at Jamari's location that was shared with her and noticed he was on his way to the barbershop.
