have you ever cared for someone so much that all you wanted to do was be there for them? You wanted to make sure they were safe, loved and appreciated? Life is hard but it can be easier when you have your person, the person you call on when your mind is clouded with depressing thoughts, someone you call on when you just need to vent, someone you call on when you just want to hear there voice. Having that person is special but once you find them you can and should NEVER let them go.

"Everything's going to be okay Jamari, your parents are always with you." Cherry said as she rubbed the young man's back while watching them lower his parent's grave into the ground.

Jamari stood there with his hands clutched into a fist, mug on his face and tears rolling down his eyes; wondering how his life can shift so quickly.

Standing there in a daze as their caskets were fully in the ground, Roc and Kyaire walked up and stood next to him waiting for a response from there nephew.

"They would still be here if you would've told us your mom had an alcohol problem." Roc said while shaking his head.

"aye don't put the blame on my sister, your brother was causing her stress nigga." Kyaire resorted back.

The two of them stood there and argued back and forth. Yes, the each of them lost a sibling but they were to busy fighting and caught up in there own shit that they failed to realise there nephew lost both of his parents and didn't have a sibling to fall back on.

Jamari was angry at them, angry that they didn't even try to console him, angry that they didn't check on him and his mental health. He truly felt alone in this situation, while everyone was caught up in there own thoughts and feelings he had nobody to call on to or a shoulder to cry on, his family turned there back on him..

After the funeral was over and everyone went there separate ways Jamari got in his car and drove to the nearest liquor store.

Although he was not yet of age to buy the substance the workers didn't card people who bought from them.

Stepping out of his car and buying what he needed he got back in and headed to his destination.

He looked over at the view of the city and sulked in his feelings. He grab the bottle of Hennessy and took it straight to the head, wincing after every gulp.

Tears shed down his face as family memories flooded his head. He felt lose and depressed

"Why yall had to leave me man. I don't have nobody now."

Jamari looked over at Sevyn who was sleeping peacefully. Her light snores filled the room, he was so in love with her and enjoyed every moment he had with her. He was finally happy to have someone in his life and never wanted this feeling to go away.
