Her knuckles were now bruised from her how hard she would grip the bricks to pull them out.
But that didn't matter. The hole was big enough for her to squeeze through.

Her breathing was heavy, and at this point it was getting harder and harder for her to breath. But she had to push through it.

She stepped through the hole, and into the other area of the sewer. Her mind was a mess, but one thing was for sure, this must be a way out if it was sealed off like that. She told herself, as she walked down the tunnel. Torches where held to the wall every six foot [Name] walked. She was thankful to have the light to say the least, but it was still really creepy.

There was no longer puddles of water on the trail in which she walked on, so is it really even a sewer anymore? She shook her head and continued to walk down the tunnel.

She felt like she's been walking for hours at this point, but it's only been 30 minutes.
Her legs were on fire, and [Name] doubted that she could even think straight. She was so thirsty for water that she thought she heard running water ahead, but it was just her imagination.

She stopped walking and place her hands on her knees. Sweat was trickling down her forehead as she evened out her breathing patterns.
[Name] then stood up straight, and started to slowly walk again.

"When is this ever going to end?" She asked herself, the tunnel seeming like it would end.

But, as [Name] walked a little further, a singular cell came into view.

"Huh?" She question looking at it. She walked a little closer and noticed that the cell's door was open.

[Name] gasped when she walked in and saw a skeleton laying on the bed. "I hope this is fake." She said walking up to take a look at it. I know damn well it isn't fake. You thought, while inspecting it from a good distance. [Name] noticed that something sparkled in the eye of the skeleton, but it was still a bit dark for her to see what it was.
What is that? I can't really tell--wait. She walked out of the cell and took a torch from off of the wall.

The fire from the torch lit up the cell, making it much easier to see.  She place the torch near the skull, looking closely at it.

"A key?"

She tilted her head to the side while looking at it. Why is there a key? You questioned in your head. You looked around the tiny cell, trying to see where a key would be useful at.

But, they really wasn't much in the cell. Just a bed with a skeleton on it. She threw her head back and sighed. I'm so tired. She thought while squeezing her eyes shut.

When she opened them again, she noticed a particular air vent that most definitely wasn't there before. Right above the bed. What the-
She walked a little closer to the bed to take a look at it.

It was big enough for someone to climb through, that's for sure. And there was a keyhole right on the top of the vents gate.

Oh that's where the key goes! She thought, with a smile on her face. But then it slowly faded when she realize. How am I going to get the key out..

She took another look at the skull. The key she needed was in its eye. [Name] reached out towards the skeleton and stuck her finger in it's eye, and grabbed the key.

But hundreds of little bugs came crawling out of the skeletons body, causing [Name] to jump back, scream, and drop the torch she was holding.

"Ew!"

She was grossed out. The sounds of the bugs little feet tapping against the concrete ground.

"Oh my god, that is fucking gross." She grumbled, twitching slightly. She looked down at her hand that was clutched into a fist and opened it.
A Shiney key with a skeleton head at the top of it, laid in the palm of her head. Hm. Very fitting. She thought, still grossed out. But, she shook her head.

[Name] placed a foot on top of the springy mattress, and then the other and climb on top of it. She stood up straight, and pushed the key into the keyhole.

.
.
.

"Huh?" [Name] looked at the key. It didn't go though. She tried again, maybe it's upside down. So she turned the key upside down and tried to push it through the hole. Nope. That also didn't work. She let out an angry huff, and tried to just take out the cover of the vent. But that also didn't work.

"You're joking." She mumbled stepping down from the bed. "You're joking!" She exclaimed, angry, and stomped her foot like a child. "What am I supposed to do?" She asked herself looking around the small room. There's nothing really in the room that could help her. She placed the skull key into her pocket, and then placed her hands onto her hip.

[Name] walked back and forth in the small cellar.

But something told her to look under the bed. I swear, she thought, grabbing the side of the bed. If this stupid key isn't here--you flipped over the bed, with much struggle, and the sounds of bones hitting the concrete echoed off of the walls. [Name] pushed the bed against the wall so it could stand without her having to hold it up.
Her eyes scanned the bed frame, yet there was no key.
Even under the bed, there was no luck.

"I'm hopeless." She mumbled, slapping her palm on her forehead. She sighed and went to go place the bed back down. But, there, tapped onto the bottom of the bed, was the key. Her frown almost immediately turned into a smile when she saw it. [Name] quickly snatched it from off of the bed and practically threw the bed down. She hopped on top of the bed and stood up straight.

Moment of truth. She thought, holding up the key to the keyhole.
And with one swift movement it went in. She attempted to twist the key and--

The sounds of something unlocking fill the cellar, and the cover of the vent popped off.

[Name]'s eyes widened as she laughed. Let's go. She thought, throwing the vent cover to the side, and climbing into the vent.

Just one step closer to getting out of this hellhole.
