[Name] Itadori

"Sorry, but I can't stay for the club, Sasaki." Yuji said, as he grabbed his things from his locker. "I'm visiting my grandfather today." He explained.

"Oh, that's okay, Itadori!" Sasaki said, pushing her glasses up against her face. "Have fun with your grandfather. He won't be around long forever so it's good your spending time with him. No offense."

"Thanks." Yuji muttered.

Along the way Yuji stopped by the flower shop and bought his grandfather a bouquet of flowers, like he always did.

"Hello, Yuji, are you here to see you grandfather today?" One of the nurses asked him as he walked in. He nodded and smiled. "Just in time too, he just woke up. Come on, I'll take you to him." She smiled. She walked around the front desk, and motioned him to follow. Which he did.
"Mr. Itadori, your grandson is here to see you today." The nurse said to his grandfather.

"Hey, grandpa." Yuji said, placing the flowers into the vase next to the bed his grandfather laid in.

"Yuji." His grandfather said. "How's school?" Yuji shrugged, sitting down in the chair, next to the hospital bed. The nurse long gone. "Are you still in that club?"

"Same as usual." Yuji said, looking at the flowers in the vase. "But there is something I may need your help with." He said, turning his head to look at the older man. His grandfather raised an eyebrow. "There's this project- a family tree, project and-"

"Yuji-"

"But! But, I have no knowledge of my parents!" Yuji said, cutting off his grandfather. "I mean, I know mom's name, but what about my dad? I know nothing about him!- Actually, I know nothing about both my parents!" Yuji argued. His grandfather sighed.

'Perhaps it was time Yuji learned about his parents.' His grandfather thought. 'After all, he's getting older, and I'm not getting any better'.

He sighed, looking at Yuji.

"You may need to change up the story before putting it in your project." His grandfather said. Yuji's eyes widened. "After all, normal people wouldn't understand."

"Really! You're really gonna tell me about my parents! No way, thanks grandpa!" Yuji said, excitedly, practically jumping in his seat.

"Yeah, yeah." His grandfather sighed. "Now, you see, your mother was in her 2nd year of high school in this- odd school."

-

"Itadori-chan!"

A pair of [e/c] eyes slowly fluttered opened at the sound of her name being called.

"Itadori-channn!"

She saw the beautiful sunny day, and the raven haired girl that stood in front of her.
"Are you okay, Itadori-Chan? You weren't waking up the first eight times I called you." The second year girl looked at the third year girl in front of her.

"Uh- yeah, sorry Mizuki-Senpai. I must've fell asleep under the tree. You know I had this strange dream. There was a guy was odd tattoos-" [Name] began, looking at the sky.

"You can tell me about your dream at lunch!" The older girl said, as she grabbed [Name]'s arm, pulling her up from her position under the tree. "You're gonna be late for class, and then I'm gonna be late for my class!" Mizuki said, with a strong grip on [Name]'s arm, as they ran down to Jujutsu High's door.

The [h/c] girl, found it hard to focus, all day. She kept on thinking about that dream she had. But when it came to talking about the dream, she instantly forgot about it.

"Hey, Itadori-Chan! What was that dream you had? I'm curious now, haha." Mizuki said, walking up to [Name] in the lunch line.

"Oh, well, it was- it was," [Name] bit her lip, trying to remember the odd dream. "Honestly, Mizuki-Senpai, I don't remember, now." She told the upper classmen.

Maybe it was a cursed spirit doing it? She had read somewhere about curses and some of their effects on people. She shurgged it off, hoping that she'll forget about it tomorrow.

Oh, but she couldn't forget about it, the next day. In fact, those dreams kept appearing, days after she first fell asleep under the tree.
And it bothered her.
She can't focus because of it. She wasn't getting any sleep from it.

-

"Wait, so my mom had sleep paralysis?" Yuji, who was at the edge of his seat, asked his grandfather. His grandfather rolled his eyes.

"No, your mother didn't have sleep paralysis."

"Oh, okay, anyways continue!" Yuji exclaimed with excitement, but the excitement slowly faded once there was a knock on the door.

"Mr. Itadori," she said referring to Yuji. "Visiting hours are over." Yuji gave a disappointed look.

"But, we didn't even get to the part where my father came into the story.." Yuji sadly muttered.

"I'm sorry Mr. Itadori, but rules are rules. It's time for your grandfather to take his meds and go to bed." The nurse with some attitude, said, placing a tray next to the older Itadori's bed.

"Don't worry, Yuji, I'll tell you the rest tomorrow." His grandfather, happily, said, patting Yuji head. I've never really seen him smile before. Yuji thought. The pink haired boy smiled back at his father.

"Thanks grandpa. I'll see you tomorrow." He said, leaving the room.

The next morning, his grandfather died.
