CHAPTER six

laying in bed with nothing to do, and having dozens of existential breakdown later, the Alana girl took out her phone to see the Sixer boys in live—dancing to a new dissing track they released.

just a few seconds in, it abruptly stopped, causing her to furrow her eyebrows and shrug.

Jayda decided to chill with her brother today, when she noticed he wasn't home. she checked his room, not there either. but another thing that wasn't there was his knife that he usually never brought with him: scratching her head, she shrugged once again and took out her phone when it pinged.

she saw Twosie in live and decided to check it out, thinking he was probably with her brother or something.

as soon as she entered, she saw the man checking himself out, while Tiny, Dots, and another one of the Towerboys were throwing gang signs in the back.

"man's on the opp block, but i can't see no opps."

Twosie pretended to look around, while turning around with his phone so the rest of the boys could be seen.

"tell them Sixer pussios, we're outside."

he sang the final part, as Tazer could be seen shaking his head at the guy. Jayda laughed, when she sat down on her brother's bed to continue watching.

"this blocks vacant, message the ting, see where they are."

Skreamer suggested, Twosie bringing down his phone so only his clothes were in frame. "already have man, she ain't replied."

"who's this Veronica chick anyway? swear i heard it before."

Tiny added, causing Tazer to furrow his brows while he thought to himself.

also furrowing her eyebrows, Jayda commented on the live.

@jayjay.alana: you messin w/ Veronica? you do know she a Sixer right..

Twosie mentally read the comment and shrugged, which made Jaxon speak up.

"swear Jayda had mad beef with her." he spoke, lowering the bandana that was covering his face. "you sure she ain't just tryna line us up?"

"for this dick?" Twosie joked, while Jayda laughed at him once again before feeling relieved that her brother was there with them.

the group talked a bit more, when a random guy dressed in blue started walking towards a direction, attracting the attention of the boys. they called him up, as Twosie turned his camera to focus the attention on him.

"got a slippin' Sixer here, Jayda." he announced, moving the camera provokingly in his face.

"i'm not a Sixer."

Twosie read the comment out loud once again, making some of the boys laugh. the group interrogated him a bit more, before Jayda felt bored.

@jayjay.alana: make him buss a star jump for funsies

the recording man chuckled, and moved around, thinking of his next move. Jayda then smiled at the screen when he began making the random civilian say that 'Towerboys run shit' until he eventually made him jump up and down.

they started laughing carelessly, before Tazer spoke up in a normal voice telling him to stop. "we ain't here to bully civilians." he could be heard scolding the group. he would've been harsher if it wasn't for the fact that Jayda was the one that suggested it, and that a camera was pointed towards him.

observing the scene, Jayda took another good look at the guy, tilting her head as she felt a sense of familiarity towards him. she thought to herself but nothing came to mind, all she knew that she saw him recently.

@jayjay.alana: i think ive seen him somewhere tho

Twosie read, when Tiny nodded his head and took out his phone. "yeah me too, the jacket is familiar." he recalled, the random guy suddenly tensing up in his place.

after some talking and more back-handed compliments form Twosie's part, they let the man go, until Tiny finally clocked where he knew him from.

"i knew i seen the jacket before! look, that's him and Chucky!"

Tiny announced, and that's when chaos began as nothing could be comprehend from the live, since the only thing that could be seen was Twosie's body running. but after some more running, even more yells came, when Skreamer's muffled voice could be heard calling out for Tazer.

while Twosie ran, Jayda could catch a glimpse of dozens of guys in blue running towards them, throwing different things like bricks, trash, and keys.

but a sight that completely threw her off, was when she saw Jaxon get tripped over and fall over, scraping against the hard concrete pavement. she could only see him get jumped by some of the Sixers in blue, since Twosie was still running rapidly.

immediately getting up, she shook her head in panic, not knowing what to do to help him out. "uh, fuck." she exited his room, putting on some shoes, then rushing to the floor of the building and grabbed his spare bike.

the girl pedalled as fast as she possibly could to the Tilbury Estate, already knowing how to get there from the countless times Veronica told her to fight there. Jayda's eyes began getting slightly wet, when she could already hear the people yelling, groaning in pain, when she almost pulled up to the spot.

she saw a few Sixers still running after some of the Towerboys, some fighting on 1v1s, some trying to stab each other, but the people she was worried about were nowhere to be seen. Jayda left the bike on the floor and looked around, her breath hitching as her worry began to grow even more.

when she came across another group in blue running away, she noticed a figure lying down on the floor, blood splattered in various places. her heart skipped a beat, an it might've as well stopped beating before she saw that it indeed her brother—with a knife wound on his upper chest, but not near his heart.

the tears Jayda was holding in before, began dripping down her face as she got on her knees and observed her brother's body unconscious. she shook her head and grabbed his heavy arm, hugging it to seek any sort of comfort available.

tears started wetting the limb when Jayda erupted into sobs. Jaxon was the only family left for her after both of her parents weren't present anymore, and if he did die that moment, Jayda already knew that she wouldn't know what to do with herself and her life.

i just realised the actors for jayda and jaxon played lovers in a series.... im dead
