CHAPTER ten

"your eyes did go yellow..." Tiny muttered, as if the rest of the group didn't understand it as well.

"yeah, no shit man." Jaxon gasped, still in shock of what her little sister could do.

"so we got two people here that have fucking powers?"

"Tazer the ghost!" Tiny smiled, jokingly shoving his shoulder, and then he turned to Jayda. "and Jayda the... witch?"

"a witch is cool." she nodded, making the group laugh as she and Tiny side-hugged once again.

although she was still a bit hurt from their last conversation, Jayda couldn't help but kiss the days they were like this: a whole group without personal relations coming in between. the strange tension that Tazer and the Alana girl had a few days ago, slightly became better—when they both smiled at each other like they did before, a sense of deja-vu rushing through their veins.

the rest also were content at the fact that they seemed to be good despite not even looking at each other moments before, noticing that Tazer had put an arm around Jayda's shoulder while they were leaned against the wall facing the group.

"so what else can you do?" Skreamer pondered with curiosity, as the same question went through the minds of the others.

"not sure, i haven't tried anything." Jayda shrugged, "but i did do something strange the other day."

she then sighed when she realised that the boys were looking at her once again, eager to know more about her knew found powers.

"when Jaxon got... cheffed up," Jayda began, the group glancing at him with worry and regret of that day. "i lowkey punched the ground, and i left a huge dent, even though i didn't punch that hard."

Twosie had a puzzled expression on his face. "i beg, try it again now." he pleaded, making Jayda roll her eyes as Tazer removed his arm and she bent down on one knee.

she eyed the rest with uncertainty in her eyes, before gently punching the ground. they were now even more surprised when her hand sank down like sand, also bending down to look at the dent. Dots touched the inside of it, and it was hard as it was before, only that now there was a hand-sized hole in the ground. 

"rah, that's pure witchery." Twosie gasped, looking at Jayda who just laughed before sitting up again and being engulfed in Tazer's touch once more.

"so Taze," Tiny began, " your clothes go invisible too?" he asked, making the guy simply nod at his concerns.

"what about anything you touch?" Jayda added, looking up to him.

Tazer just smiled at her, before his eyes turned yellow once again, as he and also Jayda disappeared into thin air.

it was definitely something out of a comic book; Jayda moved around her feet and she couldn't see them, just the outline of her body which the others couldn't see. she then turned to the boy next to her and she also could only see the outline of his body, while the rest was quite literally invisible.

after the group and her confirmed that it was in fact possible, Tazer turned them back visible, while his eyes glowed for a second.

"Tazer the ghost!" Twosie tapped on his chest jokingly, laughing after he did his little magic trick. "are you deeping this fam? 'cause i am."

Jayda slightly shook his shoulders sarcastically, proud of his capabilities, when Tiny spoke up once more. "yo Taze, quick one."

"how many questions your gonna ask, fam?" Skreamer complained, leaning forward to look at the man who just had an innocent smile on his face.

"just one more." he shrugged, "so uh, why didn't you use your power..." Tiny hesitated, but continued on.

"—the night that Chucky stabbed you."

with that, the group definitely knew it was an out of order question, as they all tensed up, but still looked towards Tazer for an answer.

"i couldn't." Tazer spoke, glancing down to the floor

the boys eventually went elsewhere, to the places that they needed to be, leaving Tazer and Jayda wandering around the perimeters of the Estate.

it was a long time ago since they were actually one-on-one alone somewhere, but there wasn't any awkward silence, just both of them thinking that the other would talk eventually.

"so...?" Tazer spoke, with his hands in his pockets as they walked side to side.

Jayda was about the talk first, but he beat her to it, deciding that too much time had been spent in silence when they could be finally communicating with one another.

"so what?" Jayda repeated, a sly smirk on her face.

letting out a breath huff, the man stopped in his tracks and faced Jayda, making her do the same.

"i didn't lie when i said i was sorry." he began, now the pair staring into each other's eyes.

"good."

"and i'm also not lying when i say that i've missed you."

the girl bit her lip, trying her best not to fold in front of him. "i've missed you too." she confessed, looking away from him.

she then felt herself tense up when Tazer got closer to her, and put a hand in her cheek, covering almost the entirety of the side of her face. "you what?" he made her repeat, with a teasing expression.

"i've missed you too." she spoke, this time more clearly and making sure she looked at him in the eyes.

"good."

so i changed by mind whatever i said to that one comment—scrap it.

it's basically matter manipulation where she can manipulate literally anything that is made out of atoms in the world; so for example the wall was made out of concrete, BUT she made it so it was fake and it was an illusion.

while the others times were actually real stuff.

so to shorten it up she can create illusions that require less energy of her body, while manipulation creates actual real things require more energy
