In the opulent Malhotra villa, a dramatic conversation unfolds. Siddharth, Tina's brother, passionately pleads with their father, Vijay,
"How can you consider marrying her off to a stranger? We know nothing about him! Kya yeh sach hai, Papa? (Is this true, father?)" Siddharth said
Vijay, with a hint of authoritarianism, responds, "I know him, and he's a good man. He's wealthy, and that's all that matters. Woh humare liye perfect hai (He's perfect for us)." Siddharth, concerned for his sister's well-being, protests, "But she's still in college, Dad. Can't we wait until she finishes her studies? Please, Papa, yeh mat karo (Please, father, don't do this)!"
Vijay's tone turns stern, "No, we can't wait. I've already discussed this with his father, and they both will marry each other in two-three weeks. Yeh hoga , aur hum sab khush honge (This will happen, and we'll all be happy)."
Siddharth, aware of his father's stubbornness, reluctantly backs down.
Meanwhile, Tina, overhearing the conversation, is shocked to marry someone (she couldn't hear that he is from a wealthy family). But her joy is short-lived, as she remembers her love for Akash. She confides in him over the phone, "Akash, I'm being forced to marry someone I don't know. What should I do? Mujhe kya karna chahiye, Akash? (What should I do, Akash?)"
Akash, determined to be with her, suggests, "Run away on the wedding day, and we'll figure something out. Hum saath saath honge, Tina (We'll be together, Tina)." Tina, torn between her family's expectations and her love for Akash,and agrees to pretend to be happy with the marriage for now. "Theek hai, Akash. Maine yeh karna soch liya hai (Okay, Akash. I've decided to do this)."
In the shadows, Roshni, Tina's sister, listens to the conversation, feeling the weight of her family's neglect and blame. Despite her innocence, they've always treated her poorly, believing she's the reason for their misfortunes. Only Siddharth and his wife, Anu, have shown her kindness and support. Roshni's fate hangs in the balance, "Kya yeh sach hai, Roshni? Kya hum kabhi khush honge? Kya hame bhi kabhi pyaar milega jaise sabko mil rha hai ?!(Is this true, Roshni? Will we ever be happy? Will I ever get love like everyone is getting?)"
At the Sharma villa, Prashant and Rani Sharma discuss Aditya's impending marriage to Tina.
Rani expresses her reservations, "She's so young, and Aditya is 27. Are we rushing into this? Kya hum yeh sahi kar rahe hain? Ye jald baazi nhi hai kya?(Are we doing the right thing? Are we not rushing to much?)"
Prashant reassures her, "Her parents are agreeable, and that's all that matters." As they converse, Aditya enters the room, his thoughts unknown, but his fate entwined with the Malhotra family's intrigues.
