Outside office

As Shreya dragged Virat and Rajveer out of the Advait'p's cabin, a sudden sense of someone holding her hand tightly engulfed her. She could feel the warmth and firmness of the grip, which sent a shiver up her spine. Curious and a bit flustered, she took a quick peek at her hand to see who was holding it so tightly. To her surprise, she discovered that it was none other than Rajveer. His intense gaze met hers for a brief moment, and in that instant, she felt an unspoken connection that left her heart racing.

As they hurried out of the Advait's cabin, Shreya suddenly felt them drift apart when Virat said, panting, "Guys, guys, hold on! Why are we running? What happened?" Shreya quickly changed the topic, saying, "Come on, are you already forgetting? We're here for the union of two souls-Advait and Naina." Hearing this dramatic statement from Shreya, both Virat and Rajveer burst into laughter.

"Well, I didn't know I had a whole team for it," Rajveer said, removing his hand and placing it around Shreya's shoulder. She felt a mix of surprise and warmth at his gesture, her heart fluttering slightly as they continued walking together.

On the other hand, Virat was looking at them, thinking, "Hmm, everyone is pairing up except me. God knows when I'll find the love of my life." He snapped back to reality when they stopped at a nearby restaurant. Deciding to take a break, they chose to have something to eat while leaving Advait and Naina at the office.

At the office, Naina had a mixture of worry and discomfort etched on her face. She fidgeted with her hands, her eyes darting around the room anxiously. Advait noticed her unease and stepped forward, his heart resolute and free of fear. This time, he felt a strong urge to protect her, as if she belonged to him. His usual reservations melted away, replaced by a fierce determination. He gently placed a hand on her shoulder, his touch reassuring. "Naina, you don't have to worry," he said softly, his eyes locking onto hers with a promise of unwavering support. "I'm here for you, always."

To ease the situation further, he asked, "Do you want to eat something? Yes? Then we can go out." His voice was gentle and inviting, hoping to bring her some comfort. He offered a reassuring smile, trying to lighten the atmosphere and make her feel more at ease.

"Um, sir, Advait-" she stuttered, her voice trembling.

Advait interrupted gently, "You can call me Advait."

"Advait, I've troubled you enough," Naina said, looking down. "I don't want to trouble you more. I think you've helped enough this far."

For a second, Advait's heart clenched, and a fear of losing her appeared on his face. He asked, "Where are you leaving?" His voice betrayed the anxiety he felt at the thought of her leaving.

"I'm not leaving anywhere; it's just that I don't want to be a burden," Naina said, her eyes reflecting a mix of sincerity and apprehension.

Advait came forward, cupped her cheeks, and said, "You never bothered me, Naina. And if you think you're bothering me, then it's okay. I want to be bothered by you. If it's you, then yes, I'm ready to do anything. Don't ever think this way, baccha." His eyes were filled with sincerity and warmth, trying to reassure her that she was never a burden to him.

Hearing this from him made her feel like she had someone who cared for her selflessly. Yet, she hesitated to go further. Deep down, she knew what the outcome could be and was afraid of the potential consequences.

To her surprise, someone knocked on the door.

"Open the door, Miss Naina," Advait said, keeping his face straight.

Naina opened the door, and her eyes widened. She quickly hid her surprised expression from Advait and asked the delivery boy to place the items on the small table inside.

"Don't be shy, this is all for you. Start eating," Advait said with a smirk, his eyes twinkling mischievously.

Naina surveyed the spread before her with wide-eyed amazement. "Seems like he knows what I like... Huhu, pizza, coke, fries, ice cream, chocolates, chips-omg, everything is my favorite," she mused silently, trying to contain her excitement."AHHH!! FROM WHERE TO START" Her heart raced with the dilemma of where to begin as she screamed in her thoughts.

Unable to resist teasing Advait, she grinned mischievously and feigned a dramatic hand injury. "Oh wait... Hmm, let's drag Advait into this too," she thought, watching with satisfaction as he rose from his chair, a mixture of amusement and curiosity on his face. He approached the table filled with snacks, his expression softening as he caught her playful gaze.

Still, he decided to play along with her. "What happened, Naina?" he asked, pretending concern.

"Umm, you see, ahh, never mind. Just sit here and enjoy this with me," Naina said, her voice tinged with a hint of mischief.

His heart warmed at her invitation. One command was all it took for him to sit down beside her and start enjoying the food together. He couldn't help but smile at her playful spirit, grateful for these moments of lightheartedness amid their busy day.

While Naina set aside all barriers in that moment, she immersed herself fully in the simple joy of sharing food with Advait. The laughter that echoed in the room, the casual banter exchanged between bites-it all felt so natural and comforting. For once, she let herself be completely present, savoring each moment without worries or reservations. It was a rare instance of pure happiness that she cherished deeply.
