Jillian was an avid writer. She had been writing stories since she was 18. She had a Wattpad account. However, she felt like she wasn't a real writer. It seemed like she was a phony. She felt like her stories didn't have that authenticity like other authors.

"It feels like I should have started writing, when I was at least eight," she said. "I'm nothing but a fraud."

"Don't say that," said her friend, Randall. "Your stories are amazing!"

"I think they're trash, and I think writing is mostly done during childhood. Look at me. I'm no writer at all."

"Writing doesn't have a specific timeline," said Randall. "People can start writing at any time of their life. Bram Stoker didn't write Dracula, till he was 50!"

"That makes me feel a lot better!" Jillian smiled. *Thanks, Randall!"

"My pleasure!" Randall smiled back.

A/N Imposter Syndrome is a real problem amongst us writers. We feel like we're frauds, but that's not true! This is something I deal with almost on a daily basis! Don't be a silent reader. Please leave feedback. Thanks.
