Mina charged at me, using her acid to make her glide against the cement. I narrowed my eyes at her. Was she holding acid?
As she neared closer, she threw acid my way. I charged at her, dodging it. As I got closer, I knew I would be easier to hit. A little piece of acid fell onto my arm, burning the skin. I bit my lip, holding in a cry.
I grabbed onto the front of her shirt, holding on tightly. I started pushing her, her shoes slid across the ground. She put her hands on my arms and activated her quirk.
We neared closer and closer to the line. She pushed, but I didn't let go. She punched and kicked at me, but I continued on. I punched her gut, making her curl over in pain. I took that chance and shoved her out of bounds. She fell on her butt out of bounds.
"Ashido is out of bounds!" Midnight announced, "Aizawa advances to the next round!"
I walked out of the arena as they announced the sixth match. I had holes in my arms. What the heck.
I sighed and headed to where they said Recovery Girl was stationed. I walked into her office and sat down. She sighed and helped me. I ended up passing our in the infirmary bed. I ended up sleeping longer than I should've, and I woke up after Kirishima's battle.
I watched the entire next match sitting in the bed before looking away. It was kinda painful to watch. I turned back to the tv. I stared at the TV as the crowd booed Bakugo. I gasped and got out of the bed and ran out of the room.
I stepped into the room where my dad and Present Mic were sitting in.
"Izumi?" Mic looked at me confused. I shoved him out the way and grabbed the Mic. I shoved it in my dad's face.
"Where is the man who started this uproar? Are you a pro? Becuase if you're being serious, you can go home and hang up your cape. I'd suggest looking into another career." He said. I'll admit, I was a little impressed.
He continued, "Bakugo's fierceness is an acknowledgment of his opponent's strength. He knows she deserves to have made it this far, so he's making sure he does whatever it takes to keep her at bay and come out on top." I smiled happily. This is why he's an amazing teacher. He's also amazing because he's never missed a day of school.
I glanced at Bakugo. He was surrounded by smoke, but it started to settle after a while. "We're not finished." I heard him say faintly.
I smiled at the look of determination on Uraraka's face. I'm glad to see that she's not going down without a fight. She's strong, in my opinion. Everyone looked to the skies, I gasped at how much rubble was in the air.
Uraraka let out a yell and released her quirk. The rubble started falling down rapidly. I left the room and ran to the stands to watch the rest of the fight play out.
"A meteor shower!" Mic shouted as the rubble fell. I stood at the railing.
"Now you notice." My dad scoffed.
Uraraka charged at Bakugo as the debris fell. I leaned in closer. Bakugo raised his hands above his head, and Uraraka got ready to use her quirk on him. She reached her hand out to him... when a giant explosion came out from Bakugo's hand. My eyes widened. Uraraka flew back from the impact of the blast. Holy shit. I covered my ears.
My hair whipped in the gist of wind that the blast created. I gripped onto the railing, scared I might fall over. The stands shook from the impact. Uraraka struggled to stand up so she could continue fighting. The smoke started to settle, and Bakugo stood in the middle of it all. My ears rung from the explosion, making me take a step back from the railing.
Present Mic gasped, "Bakugo bangs out a huge demonstration of power! He blasted apart Uraraka's finishing move and remains untouched!" Uraraka stood up, her body trembling.
