"Mina!" I ran over to her, engulfing her into a hug. We planned to sit next to each other on the bus to the summer camp.
I was a little nervous about camp because my dad is going to be working us till we drop. Mina made it better by reminding me of the memories I was gonna make.
I was genuinely scared to get on the bus. I hate everything that has to do with transportation vehicles. Mina held my hand the entire time. That made me smile.
Mina and the others were really excited for the camp. I tried to remind them that it was a training camp. It's not supposed to be fun. We all got on the bus and sat down with our friends. I sat on the inside of the seat while Mina sat on the outside.
"Here's the deal. We'll be on this bus about an hour before our first stop. Make sure you stay focused." Mr. Aizawa said, glancing back at us.
"Why aren't we blastin' some music?" Denki asked. Everyone was talking loudly and messing around.
"Why do I bother? Well, I guess this is the only time they'll have to follow around." He sighed.
"Come on, Sho, don't you remember when we went to training camp?" Rei asked.
He smirked, "Yeah..."
"Izumi!" Mina said.
"Yeah?"
"I have something to tell you..." she leaned in, whispering a little. I leaned in as well, even though I could hear her clearly.
"So, you know how you almost drowned in the pool?" Mina asked. I nodded. It was kinda hard to forget about how I almost died.
"Bakugo jumped in immediately after Maho blurted out that you couldn't swim." Mina said.
"And? What's the point of this?"
"He... gave you cpr. Like mouth to mouth." She whispered really low.
"HE WHAT!?" I shouted, my face turning bright red. Mina covered my mouth.
"Calm down!" She said.
"How can I be quiet when he stole my... first kiss?" I whispered.
"I don't know. I just thought you should know. I mean, he did save your life." She said.
"Thanks for telling me..." she gave me a thumbs up. We continued to chat about random things.
Finally, we took a break and got off the bus. I stretched and walked around happily.
"Finally. I needed off that bus." Denki said.
"Tell me about it." I sighed.
"Yeah, dude, you looked like you wanted to get off the bus so badly." Kirishima said.
"Yeah..." I glanced at Mina. Her and I shared a look.
"Let me get through, I gotta pee!" Mineat shouted.
I zoned out for the rest of everything. I stood next to my dad, yawning. I was tired because we thought that binge watching the Hunger Games last night was a good idea. We started at ten pm.
Suddenly, the cliff broke off of the ledge. Huh?
"Sorry, kiddo." My dad said before pushing me off the cliff.
"Traitor!" I screamed. I landed on Sero.
"My bad man..." I got off of him and then helped him up.
"You're good." He brushed himself off.
"I'll get my revenge on that asshole." I mumbled to myself.
Then, a bunch of mud monsters attacked us. The people with the more powerful quirks went ahead and took the monsters down.
I informed the others when the monsters were coming and where they were coming from. Jirou and Shouji helped.
...
We were all panting while coming out of the woods. I ended up running ahead a lot and locating where the monsters were. My legs were practically shaking.
"You said it would only be like three hours!" Sero exclaimed.
"I guess we timed it based on how long I'd take us. Sorry!" Mandalay said. I glared at my dad.
"You." I stumbled over to him, "you are the biggest traitor ever!"
"I said I was sorry." He said.
"You didn't mean it!" I huffed. Rei laughed in the background. I noticed that they were spending more time together. I glanced to my right and saw Kota punching Midoriya in his nuts. I winced. Poor guy.
Kota walked over to me and held onto my skirt, hiding behind me. I met Kota a while ago. When his parents first died. I felt bad for the poor boy. He's really sweet. He just needs some time to open up.
"What a low blow! You fiend of a child! A punch to the scrotum is unforgivable!" Ida shouted at the little boy. I giggled a little.
"The last thing I want is to hang with some wannabe heroes." Kota said.
"Wannabe!? How old are you, kid?" Ida asked. Kota smiled when I couldn't contain my laughter.
"That brat's got spunk." Bakugo smirked proudly.
"He's like a mini version of you." Todoroki commented.
"What are you talking about!? You need to shut your mouth before I blast you all the way to hell!" Bakugo grumbled.
"Yeah, sure." Todoroki said unenthusiastically.
"Kota, when did you learn to do that?" I crouched down to his level.
"I've been training since you last saw me. I'm going to beat up all the wannabe heroes." He said proudly.
"You're going to beat me up?" I gasped.
"No. Not you. The other ones. Especially the ones that are mean to youarms. crossed his arms.
I hugged him, "Aww, my hero!"
"I'm not a hero!" He argued, blushing.
"You're right. My bad." I giggled.
"Enough playing around. Get your stuff off the bus. Once your bags are in your rooms, we'll have dinner in the cafeteria. After that, you can bathe and sleep." My dad said, "Tomorrow your training starts in earnest. You better get a move on."
We all grabbed our bags and took them to our cabins. They had two cabins. One for the guys and one for the girls. It was basically like one big sleepover. After we put out bags down, we all headed to the cafeteria.
I sat in between Midoriya and Bakugo. Everyone scarffed down our food. We were all so hungry from today.
After dinner, we all headed to the hot springs. The two hot springs were separated by a giant wall.
"This feels amazing!" Mina exclaimed.
"I'm so glad they've got a hot springs here!" Jirou said.
"Work that body girl!" Mina winked at me. I blushed.
"Mineat really is the worst, isn't he?" Tsu spoke up. We all nodded.
"Thanks so much, Kota, babe!" Mina said.
"Yeah! Thank you, Kota!" I thanked him as well. Kota ended up accidentally seeing us and fell off of the top of the giant wall. I hope one of the boys caught him...
After our baths, we all headed to bed. I passed out immediately after my head hit the pillow.
This day was so long...
