Minho did not want to be so stressed out. Nor did he want to be so angry.

Why was he even angry in the first place? It was just a simple mistake, all Chan did was lose his balance mid-performance. But it messed up the whole structure of the choreo and confused everyone, including STAYs. There's videos all over the internet and even full blog pages about it. Of course Minho was angry, he messed up their biggest performance of the year and now so many people are calling them 'messy' and 'disorganised' performers. Not to mention that it's been less than an hour since the incident.

"Chan?" Minho's agitated voice called out, as he scoured the backstage area in search of the man. He had given himself time to rest after the performance, and check on all the members (who all just seemed to be concerned for their leader, and actually made Minho feel quite guilty for his anger) but now he needed to speak to him. "Chan-hyung?"

After a few more minutes of searching, he finally found him in an almost completely empty room. In fact, there was only a few couches, a coffee table and of course, Chan, that Minho could see in the room.

It took a few moments for Chan to become aware of the new presence in the room, especially as he had his head in his hands and only noticed Minho when he lifted his head. "Oh, hey Minho."

When their eyes locked together, Minho could immediately sense something off and making his demeanor soften a bit. And before he could even open his mouth to speak, Chan had stood up and started talking, although he seemed concerningly unsteady on his feet.

"Listen, I'm so sorry." He began, trying to cover up the fact that he could barely keep on his feet or even understand what he was saying. "I never, uh, meant to do um mess up like that Minho. And I would've... uh never done that.... on pur-"

"SHIT, CHAN!" Minho panicked, basically throwing himself towards Chan to catch him before he could collide with the floor. "Woah, let's, let's get you sat down hyung." He guided the elder to the couch and helped him sit down, before taking his place beside him. "Chan-hyung? Are you okay?"

"Yeah," Chan said, trying to shake off whatever was wrong and stand up again. "I'm fine, Minho. Let's just g-"

"No." Minho (gently) pulled him back down, placing his hand apon the man's thigh to make sure he didn't get up again. "Seriously, are you okay? You nearly passed out a second ago, Chan."

Sighing, Chan rested his head back and relaxed his muscles. "No. I keep feeling like I'm gonna pass out. I feel really unwell, Min."

"Is that what happened on stage today? You nearly passed out and lost your balance?" Chan merely nodded at each question Minho asked, making Minho even angrier. Except not at him (entirely), more at himself.

"Well fuck, I'm sorry hyung. I was so angry at you but if I knew what the reason was then, I wouldn't have been. I should've asked you what happened instead of getting mad by reflex. But why are you feeling this way?"

"I-uh, I... don't think I've been taking care of myself well enough..." Chan muttered, an obviously guilty tone in his voice. He understood he took it too far, but he couldn't stop the routine he'd started when it came to how hard he pushed himself.

"Chan." Minho sighed loudly, looking down at the ground with his hand still rested on the man's thigh. "How many hours of sleep do you get a night?"

"About 2?"

"And how much time do you spend in your bed resting?" Minho sighed again, seeming angrier than intend. Even if he was, but mainly he was just scared for Chan's health.

"About 1?"

"And where are you the rest of the night?"

"Either the studio or the practise room..."

"And how much do you eat a day?"

"Not enough, I know. Save the yelling at me that it's gonna get too dangerous if I don't break these habits and make me feel like a shit leader because if I can't take care of myself then I can't take care of you guys and all that crap. I get it, I get that I'm slowly destroying myself and this group." Crying. He was crying. And Minho found it hard enough to deal with others when they are unwell, let alone when there's emotions involved too. Especially his Chan.

"Channie, you never needed to take care of us in the first place. It's wonderful that you do but honestly, the best thing you can do to help us is help yourself. This group has eight people in it, and it takes eight people to keep it together. And if one person needs the rest of us to put more strength in to hold it together because they don't have the strength to do it themselves? We will. Even if that's the leader." Minho spoke, tears choking up into his eyes as well. He always felt the emotions of others, but it only became seen when it was Chan. "And, Channie?"

"Yeah?" He looked over to him, coughing over a small sob.

"Baby, you are the best leader we could ever ask for. You are the best person I could ever ask to have in my life and I'm so in love with you."

"You-" He began, lifting his hand to slowly and hesitantly rest it on top of Minho's that sat on his thigh. "You're in love with me?"

"So insanely much, and I'm really happy that you finally get to know that."

"Oh my god, Min." Chan wiped the tears from his eyes, and gazing into Minho's. "I love you too."

They were both crying messes, that both needed a hug. "Come here." Minho whispered, pulling Chan into his arms and holding him so damn tight. He needed to protect him, his love, and he was gonna. "Channie? I don't think Changbin will mind swapping dorms with me for a bit, so I could make sure you're okay and help you get into a better daily routine outside of schedules."

"That sounds like a good idea." He mumbled into Minho's shoulder, his voice croaky from all the crying and probably dehydration too.

"Baby?"

"Yeah?"

"Do you wanna? Um... do something with this mutual uh love, we have?" Minho basically stuttered, unsure on how to ask him to be his boyfriend.

Chan pulled away from the hug, his arms still partly around Minho. He looked into his eyes lovingly, knowing exactly what he was asking. "Yes, I'd love to be your boyfriend." He beamed, listening to Minho's sweet giggle as they leaned closer to eachother. "May I?" Chan asked, his breath drifting across Minho's lips that he was asking to kiss. Minho nodded with a smile, pressing their lips together gently.

Maybe it was all gonna be okay.
