The song sounded out through the speakers, filling the entire stadium with music. A song that meant a lot to them, Love Wins All by IU.

They were stood on the stage in a stadium in Sydney - doing the hardest thing they'd ever had to do.

People weren't always the kindest to queer people anyway. What would they say to a group of eight men who were all in a relationship together? What would be said to their love? Their limitless, endless love?

Well they were about to find out.

The clips and photos faded in and out, one at a time as the slideshow played through some of their favourite moments together. Some of which their fans would recognise and others they would not. Some that made them laugh and others that made them smile and even cry.

Kisses, hugs, laughs, memories - all being played back to them and the world.

Softly, rainbow coloured confetti drifted in the wind and over the audience and the stage.

Glossy-eyed and scared of the future, they all stood there with at least a metre distance apart. Knowing full well they were gonna throw themselves into a group hug the moment the song finished playing.

The first person to actually shed tears was Minho, one turning into many as he fell to his knees and bawled out his eyes. Jeongin couldn't bear the sight, tears falling down his own cheeks as he got down to wrap his arms around the elder.

Then Seungmin, Changbin and all the members cried all going somehow in order from least likely to cry to most. Except Chan and Felix, Felix was second to last to start to sob but Chan didn't even move.

He stood with his eyes gazing up at the screen, entranced by the beauty of love. Of his love, their love. He stood there thinking about how he could have never imagined a life this magical in a million years through each of those days he spent in those trainee practice rooms waiting for his time, his moment to come.

He thought about how lucky he was to have these amazing people right there loving him regardless of any of his flaws. Because no matter how much he disliked himself, they could never. They'd love him and tell him he was worthy of love until he believed it.

Standing there, surrounded by everything he'd worked for and everything he'd ever wanted, in his home town with his family in the audience and on the stage - he believed it.

Because if he wasn't worthy of love, nothing he had around him would be there. He'd still be stood crying beneath the bright lights of the dance studios. Instead of crying beneath the bright lights of the stage and the stays.

He knew things were about to change and that not everybody was gonna stick around, but he didn't care. Because his boys were never ever leaving his side, his lovers. And they were all he would ever need.

"Channie?" Felix's voice called, capturing Chan's attention in one quick instant. His head turned for the first time since the video began, he hadn't even noticed it'd finished.

Chan's first instinct was that he had to speak, but when he looked over at Felix and his boys all wrapped up in a hug - Felix's hand out wide for him to take and join them, the dam broke and he started to cry. So he ran straight into their arms, feeling them all curl around him and comfort him.

"I love myself." He whispered, and the hug tightened as that was better than a thousand 'i love yous'. "Thanks to you guys."

"No." Hyunjin muttered back, firm in his voice, "It's thanks to you."

Jisung continued on for the ferret-like man, "All of this, it is all thanks to you."

"You're Christopher Chahn fucking Bahng." Minho added, "Don't you forget it."

"I won't."
