Kwon Boram's POV
"How about scented candles?" I asked as we reviewed our options for wedding giveaways.
We're less than four months away from our special day, and everything has been going smoothly regarding our preparation for the event and the papers we needed to submit to have our wedding. Things were feeling relatively slow yet fast simultaneously: slow because I couldn't wait to walk down the aisle and tie the knot with him and fast because it still felt like we had just decided on our date yesterday.
"That's great too. We should add that to the list," Jin said, although his eyes were still fixed on his laptop as he reviewed papers from the work.
We're inside his home office, and he finished something while I was busy listing our wedding giveaways. He summarized good options so it would be easier for us to decide on the final gift for our guests.
He suggested, "I think a liquor bottle may do, too."
"What kind? Wine? Champagne?"
"Champagne."
"What do rich people like anyway? But I do get the vibe that you guys enjoy an excellent and expensive liquor, so I think Champagne is good."
"Champagne it is, then. Then let's include the scented candles and the bath bombs."
"Wouldn't that be a lot?" I asked, already imagining the price it would take. The champagne alone is already expensive.
"I have a lot of money," he insisted nonchalantly.
I laughed at that. Of course, he doesn't mind. He's really going all out for this wedding, and I appreciate him a lot because of that.
"Okay, those three, then. How are we going to present them to the guests? Will they be in a box, paper bags, or something?" I asked again.
"What do you think is better?" He asked.
"I think a clear bag would look cute, and then we'll decorate it to look aesthetically pleasing and on theme. Plus, the guests can reuse the bag, so we'll have minimal waste. Although a box will be good, too, but I think it will just end up being junk."
He stopped what he was doing to imagine what I said and nodded. "The bag, then."
"So that's it then? Do we provide it to each person or per family?"
"Per person. Each with a champagne, a lavender-scented candle, and two bath bombs with the same scent."
I read my final notes about the giveaway and asked him for the last time, "Last question, should we do it ourselves, or should we just let the organizers do it for us?"
"Just let the organizer handle it. It would be best not to stress yourself out about it unless you want to do it. Do you?" From his laptop, he looked at me and adjusted his glasses to the bridge of his nose.
"Meh, for the number of guests we have? No." We're still months away from our wedding, but as he said, I want not to stress myself out further. Besides, I am not artistic, so I don't know how to decorate it.
After sending Miss Yoo a message about our souvenirs, I placed my phone on his desk and propped my shoulder on it. I was sitting opposite him on his right side.
"Are you almost done?" I asked, pouting.
"I actually am. Are you sleepy?" He asked, not paying me a glance. "Go to bed first. We're going out early tomorrow."
"We are? But aren't we just going to meet the Attorney here to sign the prenup?"
"Originally, yes, but Jennie said we should stop by her shop so she could get our measurements and show you her sketches for your wedding gown. I'll inform Miss Yoo about that. Also, the Attorney emailed me that he wouldn't be able to come to us tomorrow and would be more convenient if we went to his law firm. After the signing, I plan to take you out shopping because that empty side of your wardrobe bothers me."
