It felt like forever since we'd arrived back at the Jedi Temple...and Kala made me head on over to the med bay and have the droids check me out about a million times over. She didn't do the same thing to any of the others, not to Kaella, who had gotten blaster burns on her arms and legs and I'm surprised that's the extent of her injuries, nor to Jaden, who quite literally was knocked unconscious the good first half I met her.
"Kala, I'm fine," I told her, almost like a disobedient child.
"Nova, if there is one thing I know about you," Kala told me, like a stern mother. "You are never fine."
"Why am I still here...?" I asked Kala. "Both the temple droids and healers have checked me out about a hundred different times, if they haven't found anything concerning, they would've....!"
"You've got quite a temper," Kala teased me, suddenly switching over from mother to best-friend mode.
"I wonder why," I told her, unimpressed and a little fed up. The longer I stayed here, the later it would be that I would actually find a way to help Lily-la.
I turned over towards the nearest temple healer. "How's Lily-la...?" I asked them. They all knew the girl on a first-name basis considering how often she's been through here and as such...she knew just who I was talking about.
"She's fine today." The healer told me, relief seemed to flood my senses. "She was quite concerning yesterday."
Between traveling, the training mission, the actual droid fights, and then traveling back...I wouldn't be surprised if at least a day had passed since I'd last been here. "That's good," I told the healer. At least I didn't need to find the holo in the archives too quickly.
"I believe she's with Master Yoda today, helping to teach the younglings." The healer added in.
"The main training hall...?" I questioned her, the healer merely nodded her head as she looked at a stack of paperwork.
"You aren't seriously...?" Kala asked me, not impressed at all.
"They have all checked me out, they say I'm fine...can we leave now...?" I asked Kala.
"...Fine..." Kala huffed.

Kala and I stood outside the temple's holocron vault, the only place off limits to anyone other than Jedi Council members. "I thought we were going to see Lily-la, not go read some holocrons," Kala told me, not that she was against the idea. I think she much preferred me reading than me fighting.
"Something Nadia told me before she left Mia," I told her. "She said something in the temple vaults would help me. She said someone was stealing Lily-la's energy, that maybe learning how to transfer my energy to her could help her."
"You are not doing that," Kala told me, sternly. "Not alone. No way."
"What if you can't...?" I asked Kala. Nadia suggested it to me so what if a normal Jedi couldn't...?"
"No way am I letting you weaken yourself, you're already too much of a medical problem as is," Kala told me.
"Am not," I told her like a little kid.
"Are too." Kala retorted.
With that, we both entered the vaults. Kala took to one side of the vault while I took another.
It took some time but we eventually found it in the very deepest and darkest recesses of the vaults.
"That took forever...!" Kala complained. She then came over towards me, as I'd found it. "Let me see it." She snatched it away from me before she tried to open it. It only opened about halfway.
