The first thing I hear is the ocean. I inhale deeply, my eyes still closed, and a smile on my face. I move my arm and feel something gritty digging into it. Sand. But it's only when I hear footsteps that I sit up groggy. I'm on a beach. I have to squint through the eye blinding sun to watch a pair of long legs walk towards me until the stranger is standing right in front of me blocking the sun. I look up but I already know who it is.

"Doctor."

"Clara. I've been looking everywhere for you." I scan his face, his miraculous chin and his beautiful hair and his big nose and full lips, that make my heart sky rocket out of my chest. I immediately put my hand over my heart to feel it beat. Seems like a weird and most obvious giveaway to the Doctor about how he is making me feel but I think this is a habit of mine. Though I don't know why. The Doctor holds out his hand and I immediately take it. Once I'm up on my legs he throws his arm over my shoulder and we walk inland.

"Doctor, where am I?"

"You're with me," he answers smoothly, and I blush.

"Well where was I before?" This seems like a very important question to ask considering I don't remember, but I feel like it's critical I know. The Doctor halts all of a sudden and does the one thing I've been waiting forever for. He presses his lips on mine, melting away all my questions and my growing worry, and leaving me warm and tingly. All to soon he pulls away and I bite my lip to fight the ridiculous grin that is sure to come. As he looks down at me I notice his eyes are on fire. Not literally, but the burning gold and red seem to glow like live flames. Something unsettles me. I've seen those eyes before. I shake my head. Of course I have. It's the color of the Doctor's eyes. I love his eyes. The Doctor smiles, the sunlight fanning his hair like a halo and pulls me along. I don't know where we are going but I'd follow him anywhere.
